The music in the cities is really... dull

Windows puters have the Xbox game bar built in. Search for Game Bar and it’ll pop up. It’s just an overlay.

You clearly don’t understand music so I’ll help you out. Tritones and Dissonance.

Hard to take you seriously right now, are you sure you aren’t completely or partially deaf?

Another one who doesn’t understand music. But that’s not my fault ol chap.

That’s pretty weak argument, you said you can do better in 5 minutes, so let us listen to some of your creations, go on.

Not a weak argument at all. Weak is wasting your time arguing with me about something you clearly know nothing about instead of doing a quick google search on tritones. You’re actually pathetic.

Don’t bother trying to defend yourself kid the argument was lost before you started.

So you have nothing, got it.

I do understand music, I am a musician myself. Having tritones and a bunch of dissonance doesn’t make it dark. Look at Moonlight Sonata. It’s just in Minor that switches to major, but it’s within those changes where the light and dark can be felt as well as the more intimate sadness in the piece.
Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in C minor is incredibly dark but doesn’t feature much tritone or even that much dissonance at all.
Take Rachmaninoff’s first movement of his 2nd piano concerto and Muse’s Space Dementia, they’re incredibly dark due to them being in minor but dissonance and tritone’s don’t make them dark.
Yes you can create an evil, medival sound through tritone, but a perfect 5th can sound wonderfully and beautifully dark when played at the best of times. Actually, it is a perfect 5th in prelude in c charp minor by Rachmaninoff that gives it that somber and brooding atmosphere.

Don’t bother, he isn’t, he has extremely subpar gaming channel, there is zero music creation tied to him. At best he heard “tritones” from elementary school music teacher and that’s how far he made it, big boy talk and absolutely nothing to show for. Btw, if you have portfolio feel free to lob it in, I would honestly love to listen to it.

I imagine, if you’re trying to be elitist throwing music theory terms around it’s concerning. Usually musicians who know of music theory love to discuss theory and the interworkings of a piece to give the emotion it evokes or simply how the piece works but never to belittle someone for not knowing.
Thank you! I’m currently finishing up my album, all tracks are written just need to go back through them before I bring them to the studio and get them mastered. Wish I had a single to drop for you, really appreciate your interest!

That moment when you know you can play Diablo 2 music on a player and turn down the music in game. Or even a song. D3 music is nothing and I mean nothing compared to the guitar work in D2 music. Or your tone def. I can put on headphone and do anything listening to D2s soundtrack.

Yeah that’s absolutely epic! It’s a shame the world bosses last 30 seconds. That’s very very good.
I believe I sent a request for b net.

Sadly right now yeah, I also miss Ashava being bit of a challenge. Luckily Uber Lilith has also awesome music and I did listen plenty of it, lol.

By the way, my favorite:

Kor Dragan has also awesome theme… and my favorite dungeon to farm

Honestly there are so many great, GREAT songs and with top notch production quality

Still listening to Ashava. I’m moving to fractured peaks now. My thought still stands, why use such really boring music for Kyovashad then??? That was EPIC! And since that music is a rarity to come by in gameplay now because of the lack of content and not being able to revisit the campaign… there really could’ve been some extra spice for post campaign Kyovashad.

WHY CAN’T THAT FRACTURED PEAKS MUSIC BE THE KYOVASHAD THEME!??!?! That’s PUREEEE Diablo music.

I am sorry, I don’t share that sentiment. I find it amazing, you can hear slav inspired roots in there, which hits close to home for me, it’s not my most favorite part of soundtrack but I like it every time I visit that town (I have pretty uniform time spend across all cities as I spend most time in NMs all over the world these days, so nothing got old)

There is one track in Dry Stepps that I can’t find on youtube and is absolutely in my top 5. (plays somewhere in south area)

Btw when I heard Gale Valley (the one you like) for the first time, I’ve just stopped and listen for a good while.

I guess maybe that is why I like it as well - being Slav

Right? There is something familiar, yet also native to sanctuary, amazing blend. It kinda grounded the experience on multiple layers.

I think my issue with the Kyovashad themes is that I feel like Jonny Greenwood’s Phantom Thread opening track from the OST works better. I respect the idea they went for but I found the execution lacking.

Even the Kor Dragan would fit better in Kyovashad. My issue might be what’s actually being played is so incredibly repetitive and would like more to the 3 themes that get cycled. The rest of the soundtrack seems to bang but Kyovashad just misses me somehow. I thought I liked it but ughhh I feel like it’s close but missing something.
