Stop trying to find shortcuts by googling

• Locations
• Shortcuts
• Exploits
• Gear

As hard as it might be for some, like an addiction, you have to kick it because it’s this that makes people so bored… Simple as that. Stop using google or your fav youtuber to find out how to play the game, figure it out on your own and it will be a million times better… Now if you become stuck, and tried everything in your power/knowledge to complete what you’re trying to complete- then sure, you can look something up to help you complete, due to some quests being bugged and whatnot. But leave it at that.

This goes for ANY game… you gotta play it and figure it out on your own. People don’t theory craft their builds anymore, they just google builds… You know how many sorcs, necros, druids, barbs (all classes) with the same exact build? that’s someone else’s build they googled instead of figuring it out for themselves.

You sound like the people who refuse to admit they are cheating - insisting that you are right (or in the other case, why it isn’t cheating). “I don’t believe you because…”

After playing builds of my own creation, just selecting things I found fun to play with, I settled with Rend on a Barb and Frozen Orb on a Sorc. I’m bored at 74 and 47 respectively. That isn’t my own doing.

Its clear Diablo is being run by people who dont like the PC ARPG crowd, dont relate to them, dont understand why they loved D2 and POE ect.

It seems like a lot of people on this forum don’t understand the genre, or the series for that matter.

Never would I have imagined I would see so many people telling us side quests, and open world exploration is what arpgs are about.

I feel like I’m in some parallel world where I’m the noob and everyone else is the veteran.

Why would they, few were around for Diablo 1 and Diablo 2. They didnt want to have what D2 was be for future diablo games, imo, activision is steering the IP into something else.

Its very clear the game was not designed for PC ARPG players in mind, from the lack of standard tools, to a total misunderstanding how how people play…like marking gear as junk rather than marking what to keep…the person making that never played an ARPG before otherwise you would mark the one item you want to save not the entire bag of junk… Same goes with the classes, its like someone with a rudimentary understanding of ARPGs made it all…

I dunno, its not the same blizzard it was back when vanilla wow and D2 were a thing. None of those people still work there, and the people who replaced them are going through the motions.
