hey,

i am new in d4
I’ve been playing for two weeks, but suddenly I’m blocked from playing.
There’s a message:
‘‘you must have Vessel of hatred expansion to access the spiritborn class. visit the shop to buy’’.

why i need to buy? this game from gamepass pc

only the base game is in the game pass. Vessel of hatred as an expansion must be purchased.

Do I have to start a new campaign from start with a new player?

as i said - the BASE game is in the game pass. The expansion is not.

If you want to play Spiritborn, and access the Nahantu area youll will have to purchase Vessel of hatred.

No worries about your english. I hope you finally understood.

by playing the base campaign…

diablo 4 consists of 2 parts

the Base game. which contains the base campaign, 5 classes (Sorcerer/necromancer/barbarian, Druid, Rogue)

and

the Expansion Vessel of hatred, which contains a new story, region, and the class spiritborn.

You have been playing the BASE GAME.

so i need new character and change class?
i will continue the campaign from where i stopped ?

you will need to purchase the expansion if you want to continue the Campaign in Nahantu, or want to play the new Class, Spiritborn.

if you dont want to play spiritborn, or the campaign in nahantu, you can just stick to the 5 base classes, and the base game.

You can just keep playing your existing characters.

when you make new character there’s a button SKIP CAMPAIGN

I chose a new character, but the campaign started from the beginning (the map remained the same)
How can I continue the campaign from where I left off in the previous player?

If you have indeed finished the campaign, you can skip campaign with either the skip campaign option during new character creation or the skip campaign function shown at the bottom of character selection screen.

With your trial Spiritborn, you only reached level 25 and were probably not very far in the campaign. You cannot skip it yet with your new character if it was not finished or start in the middle of it with a new character. The campaign is worth doing at least once.

You should be able to quickly catch up to the same level with your new character.

thank you but there no way to go back to the middle of a campaign?
I’d rather not skip the campaign

You have to play your old characters if you want to keep your previous campaign/quests progress.

New characters have to start from the beginning or skip campaign.

Old character is a trial SB so he cannot finish the campaign with it.
