Bear is the only character I beat him on in what I’d call early game. Beat his a$$ at 22 which was the first I’d run into him on druid. He can’t take down a decently geared Pulv Bear. They’re too strong.
Now that I’m in T4, I just run till he leaves. My minions are worthless against him.
No idea how that sorc didn’t die instantly being in melee range. My health went from full to one pixel of red in the globe in under a second.
Your opinion is fine, lots of people dont like the same stuff. Your childish irrational, rage-rant is what is laughable. Again, grow up. Its not that serious, you are playing a video game. Crying and screaming about things you dont like is how toddlers react to things.

You mentioned all your dmg bonuses, etc. Do you have any defense bonuses? THAT’s why he isn’t dying.
There’s more to the game than just killing. Surviving is 1/2 the battle.
My complaint is neither childish nor irrational simply because it offends your sense of epeen superiority. “I can beat this thing easily so anyone else who can’t is just a whiner” that doesn’t make sense.
Homie, these forums are toxic and awful, yes… but we NEVER agree on anything. There’s always a divide and people arguing and then someone else comes in with a hot take to stir up both sides and… Here we are, with people agreeing, and you’re the only one disagreeing.
This is a you problem. One of the most awful, divided, unlikeable user bases are actually all agreeing. You did it, you created a take SO bad that it unified the forums.

So because you can’t kill the butcher then all of us think he is anti-fun?
He is one of the only bosses that is actually tuned correctly, so hopefully nothing changes here, but instead making all the other bosses similar in difficulty.

He’s a minor inconvenience if he manages to kill me. I’ve encountered him twice and have beat him both times though. I just run around in circles around a pillar or something and minions slowly whittle him down. Yes, it’s a boring and tedious five minutes, but it does the job. The tragic part is he doesn’t seem to drop much for the effort. I think I’ve just received a few yellows if my memory serves.
The good news is, if you’re playing SC, you die and he’s gone and you’re free to move about the dungeon. There’s no real penalty for death.
I never even thought of HC. His very existence would ruin the mode for me, provided online only didn’t do that already.

Because 4 or 5 skills for sorc are defensive and with cd reduction and other procs you can be immune 75% of the time and carry 9 healthpots while he drops more. As a Frosty I simply kite him to more mobs and let the shards do their work on him. The fire sorcs get huge damage reduction to burning mobs and can straight up face tank the whole fight. Whole paragon sections are devoted to burning monsters doing less damage while you do more to them.
The butcher is a regular pop-quiz checking you up on if you’re keeping up the build.

Could you post a link to your current build? There’s no reason a level 58 ice shard sorc should be struggling with the butcher. Even if you only have 3 or 4 legendaries that help your build, it should be a cakewalk. Let me take a look and see if I can figure out why you’re struggling so much.
If you haven’t got the speed to escape or tankiness to tank then get a better build
I just had 2 runs in a row where butcher appeared, 13-15 levels higher, and it’s absolutely the only encounter in the game where my eyelids stay open (just about, one of the encounters i just carried on whirlwinding through packs of mobs/objectives and just wore him down as collateral)
Have to get creative. If I were playing HC I’d bail. It works because I’ve done it on SC. It stinks to set aside a dungeon for awhile, but worth it to not get your HC character deleted.
