It is really odd how they made massive game changes over people’s feedback from a level 20 and 25 beta, but stuff like this was in closed beta and made it all the way to now without being changed.
WW barbs were one of the strongest in closed beta. They got buffed at some point.
CE blood mist necros had amazing AoE clear, but it wasn’t nerfed until people complained about it in open beta.
Frost Blades had trash damage but was super tanky early on so people complained and got it deleted almost entirely after open beta.
Hydra did nice damage leveling but didn’t scale that well into endgame, but open beta people complained so it got obliterated.
If the barb WW unique had been available in open beta, would it have survived? Would barbs have even been buffed?
