The ancestral legendary aspect change is not great

People here complain about not having enough time, while the Eternal Realm exists. That gatekeeping is not being done by Blizzard.

Look, what are your expectations for the game? ARPGs that want to grow in content will naturally become unmanageable for the player at some point. This is not a bad thing, quite the opposite.

There are clearly 2 player mindsets in conflict, that cant be served both at the same time.

  1. Players go to a website or video and grab a pre-determined build. The “real fun” starts after the “work” of completing the listed prerequisits. So Blizzard needs to offer achievements in a shorter time frame.
  2. Players who want open-ended content farming. They are the target group of the GA system, glyph leveling, higher difficulty tiers, etc. If there is no effort involved, it would not be motivating in the long run.

Players who advocate one or the other need to understand that there is a purpose to balancing the two. Perhaps the developers need to communicate this somehow in the game.

I am very happy with this decision. Locking aspects levels behind GA is a clever solution. It breathes new life into the system with the excitement of finding upgrades. Tweaks are welcome, but do not scrap.
