I do not mind the bricking for Tempering, but maybe if you did not allow for the SAME affix multiple times in a row. If I get a lower roll on a desired affix, that is at least semi acceptable. Getting the same WRONG affix multiple times in a row is just bad programming.
Suggestion would be to NOT allow the same temper multiple times and maybe add more rolls. Bricking items is what it is, but would be nice to not brick a 2-3 greater affix item.
Yep, this has happening to myself or my GF so many times.
She was tempering a weapon and it gave her a Lucky Hit affix 5 times in a row and drove her to be very angry.
Either they need to make it so that the same affix can’t appear in the reroll (useful) or change tempering so that you can select the wanted affix but the % roll is what is random. (Very useful)

I agree…I know they want it to be random but at least do not allow the SAME fix to be done twice in a row.
This is driving me nuts. I just tempored three items and had this happen to all of them! At this point I think they’re trolling.
Well with the expansion, tempering has been changed to allow you to select what boost you want.
The random part is the % you get.
I spent over 2 days looking for the perfect amulet and over 1 billion on changing to the right affix. Then when sanctifying the item they replaced the affix I spent all that gold on. Worst part is it happened twice in a row with the same affix. Screw you D4.
