I liked the potential I felt during the first beta. It was impossible to really get a feel for the game until launch though because I probably would have waited if I knew it’d have ended up as it is now.
The only genuinely positive things I can still say about it right now are that I like how the engine feels (animations seem fluid for instance). The main story was pretty decent as well as the VAs. The one thing I like about the skill tree is that you don’t have to equip things to get the benefit from skill points you spent in it (ie having an item cast the skill instead). I was hoping for more of those kind of interactions instead of the aspects that are just glorified stats or mandatory damage reduction.
