Teleporting to Nightmare dungeons = L

They were forced to release it. Activision had nothing on the plate after dragonflight. They need season one to attract people just to not embarrass themselves this year on earnings. I know this was forced.

that’s because the horse was made around a controller, for some dumb reason if your cursor isn’t at the edge of the screen it doesn’t run at max speed even when you sprint. This needs to be changed ASAP

I play on a controller and it controls worse than roger rabbit on NES.

I agree the end game of D3 felt like just mindlessly doing Rifts over and over again. I hardly ever finished a season because of it. Now they are bringing it back again. To me sounds like they are optimizing the fun out of the game.

Yeap, current state when you need run to dungeon : mount/dismount/wait cd till mount again . It’s best way to spend your game time.

Actually, I would welcome d3 rifts. The dungeons were, at least, random. This is running the same exact thing over and over.

Ppl expect teleports to those dungeons, too.

I would be all for reducing the CD for remounting to 1 or 2 seconds. and getting rid of the roadblocks or at the very least turn them into an event.

you should see classic era servers atm. all it is is mages boosting at a few particular instances and they have a warlock alt just summoning low levels to the instance

So this solution would be worse Rifts, instantly running the exact same dungeon(s) repeatedly with slightly different modifiers. They might lose me before season 1 starts.

Some of the dungeons aren’t bad to get to, but if you just want to spam dungeons and you get…one of those other ones…really takes the sails out of my grinding boat.

Ultimately, I dno if they plan to fix/improve PC horse riding, so on that note alone I am 100% behind the teleportation. If horse-riding was better I’d still be behind it, but would care a little less.

This argument has been made time and time again from different angles. “LFG systems ruin the community.” Similarly, “Teleporting to dungeons ruins the community”.

I disagree and find both the ability to go straight to a dungeon as well as a proper LFG system to be indispensable MMO (lite) features in 2023.

Not all of us have ADD (even though I actually do), some people want to run a NM dungeon when they use a NM sigil.

You still have the option to run there.

Some of those dungeons are a pita to travel to on lag horse with special barricade + 2 skele events on the way. I think the only reason you wouldn’t like the tp is probably you didn’t already go by horse more than 50 times already.

e: if the alternative was crack horse that can demolish barricades I can get on board.

Tell me you don’t do nightmare dungeons without telling me. Thank god they’re listening to players who actually are playing the game.

I can deal with the whole mouse distance part, it is annoying but I can deal with it.

What I can’t deal with is if I drag my mouse over the UI at all it kills my movement speed. So not only do you need to move your mouse away from your character to get the max speed you also can’t move your mouse to far away as well.

How this made it past internal play tests shocked me … until we found out the devs all use controllers.

Renown is still reset and people need to do 63 side quests so the world will still have plenty of people clearing renown all the time who run into events and such. The NM dungeon change was definitely necessary imo.

Hell Tides, Legions and World Bosses will still be done so plenty of overworld stuff will continue to happen.

Not at all worried and think it’s a neat little advantage for NM Sigils to be a Teleport so there’s no question of traveling time Vs experience for any Dungeon, it comes down to the layout and affixes.
