Hi everyone, I’d like to share a few Quality of Life (QoL) suggestions that I believe would make the endgame loop and inventory management much smoother.
1. Tempering QoL: Remove the Cap When Using Reset Scrolls
It would be a massive quality-of-life improvement if we could continuously temper an item by automatically consuming our reset scrolls until we hit our desired stats or Greater Affixes (GAs). Right now, having to manually reset and re-roll the item 20 times in a row feels tedious and unnecessary.
The current tempering limit (3 charges for regular legendaries, scaling higher with GAs) made perfect sense back when reset scrolls were strictly limited to a single use. However, with the new, much-improved reset system, keeping this artificial cap no longer makes sense. The limit should be removed entirely if a player has the resources to keep resetting.
2. Horadric Cube & Crafting UI: View Possible Stat Pools
Just like we can at the Occultist, it would be incredibly helpful to have a preview window or a dedicated tab in the Horadric Cube / crafting UI. This tab should list all the possible stats that can roll under each specific category (Attack, Defense, Utility, etc.). This way, players can immediately see what they can actually target before committing their hard-earned materials.
3. Auto-Pickup for All Crafting Materials
Currently, the game automatically picks up the white shards used for the Cube, but forces us to manually click on core crafting materials. It feels inconsistent to separate these behaviors. It would be amazing if the auto-pickup feature was expanded to cover all Magic (Blue), Rare (Yellow), and Legendary crafting materials as well.
4. Ground Item Stat Preview (Diablo 3 System)
In Diablo 3, you could simply hover your mouse over an item dropped on the ground to see a quick tooltip preview of its stats and rolls (unless it strictly required identification). Bringing this feature to Diablo 4 would significantly speed up gameplay, reducing the time spent teleporting back to town just to filter through a full inventory of loot.
5. Add a Search Bar to the Glyph Inventory Tab
It would be highly appreciated to have a dedicated text search bar within the Glyph inventory tab, matching the search/filter functionality found in other parts of the UI. Right now, players have to manually hover over every single glyph one by one to find the specific one they need for their Paragon board. Adding a simple text search feature would completely eliminate this tedious process.
Thanks for reading, let me know what you guys think!
