My second post about changes for Season 5 now (the first you can find at this link Suggestion: Skyhunter Changing affixes). This time, I will theorize about changes to the Windforce item.
Maybe I’ll satirize Blizzard in this post, as the item has already had changes on the Season 5 PTR.
What was like this: Lucky Hit: Hits with this weapon have up to a [30 - 40]% chance to deal double damage and Knock Back the target.
It looked like this: Barrage has a [30 - 40]% chance to Knock Back or Knock Down enemies with each hit and deal double damage.
If they had already started the work, why didn’t they change the attributes?
Previous attributes: Windforce - Item - Diablo 4
Attributes in PTR:
[25.0 - 39.0]% Vulnerable Damage
[28.0 - 56.0]% Core Damage
[1 - 2] to Unstable Elixirs (really?)
[1 - 2] to Impetus
My sugestion:
[83.0 - 100.0]% Vulnerable Damage
[20.0 - 48.0]% Barrage Damage
[1 - 2] to Weapon Mastery
[1 - 2] to Malice
The two new passives that are on the PTR (today, 06/26/2024) seem like some combo that I don’t understand. Maybe there’s something relatively coherent about drinking a potion, stunning enemies and running 15 meters to spend what you drank, but I really don’t understand.
As the weapon is now directly linked to a specific skill, I wanted there to be a new multiplier to commemorate this feat. Since the previous version being reworked with better attributes but the same legendary power, it would be used by all rogues with Marksman abilities as their source of damage.
If you’re crazy, I’m crazier.
