What kind of contest would 1st 1000 to 100 after 10000 already did it be? Cause that is what delaying it to season 1 would make the contest.
They would be first 1000 in season 1 with a leveled playing field.
I don’t care too much about it, but i might do it if they delay it until season 1. No way I’m skipping campaign and a fresh release just to race to level 100, that’s just dumb. If you already played through the game like the people that got the review build, that’s another story. At least the Maxroll guys say they wont claim a place if they make it.
You are also assuming Season 1 will even have 1000 people get to 100 in HC. I see very little reason to make an alt unless I love the cosmetics let alone to take the alt to 100 and definitely not on HC lol
Yeah, big problem for Blizzard. Less names to put up on the statue, big deal.
But no, there will certainly be 1000 people making it to level100, even if it is postponed.
It would not surprise me if less than 10K even login to HC mode
the rules dont state anything about any required in-game difficulty setting.
it also doesnt say anything about group vs solo play.
this whole thing seems poorly thought out.
When season 1 gets here, they’d have to create a seasonal character for it, which is why it would be fair at that point.
