exactly, the devs thought the battle with a group of mobs could take 10 secs and Subo is able to flaunt his skill 2-3 times to assist the player. 
He is used only for maphack nothing else he does matters

Subo always says: “Know i have your back”. Imagine hearing those words while playing the latest prisonshowersimulator… 
I never play with subo cause the maphack is annoying for me.
In areas like helltide you see nothing on the map cause it’s overflooded.
