This has been a concern since Season 1 with Seasonal characters conquering Strongholds to unlock them for waypoint and dungeon access. Why is it that every season, every Seasonal character needs to re-clear all of the Strongholds?
When will players be able to conqueror Strongholds once to activate the Strongholds for all created Seasonal characters?
The QoL being that once a Seasonal character conquerors a Stronghold, that Stronghold is also cleared with other Seasonal characters created thereafter.
It’s a win/win for main seasonal characters and alternate seasonal characters.

As much as it is frustrating to keep unlocking them for each character and season. a lot of people love the stronghold. If they can make stronghold a endgame mechanic and need to reclaim or something as a event. I enjoy doing the stronghold and don’t mind doing them multiple times.
I duuno, I usually clear a few of the stronghold (for easy travel to helltides) only and I only do it after I hit level 100 as I don’t use those things until that point in anyway… and it takes about 30 seconds to clear the few strongholds I need each… so not much of a time investment.
Hmmm… yeah it’s hard, we want a game to play but then we don’t want to play the things in the game… so I guess I don’t understand. play but not play?
It’s not about “play but not play”.
I’ve cleared Strongholds with mains then 3-4 alternative characters since Season 1. It’s tedious. It’s repetitive. As much as I tell myself “just don’t do them”, I feel compelled to do them regardless. Why? I don’t know. And yes I cringe every time I want/need to make another character to keep doing the same cycle. And for the most part, dungeons are locked behind them in part where you need to clear strongholds to gain access to those dungeons for aspects or whatnot.
A “one and done” clearing Strongholds with the first Seasonal character to claim all Strongholds and Waypoints to be retroactive for alts would be more beneficial to/for players than to keep repeating the process, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 times over with alts. Is it necessary to clear Strongholds? In part, yes, it is for class specific Aspects and broader NMD rotation with Sigils.
The convenience IS there, just not sure why it’s a difficult task for the developers to include that as a QoL.
