If it was a big concern and completely wrong they would have likely come out and said on X or somewhere no new class coming in S11.
The only undisputed and all-powerful character who uses a flail is the paladin. Those d3 kids should stop saying it’s the crusader. No, we don’t want any more d3 stuff; we need the d2 paladin.
ITs possible its a crusader as well. There is a new crusader mount armor or something in there as well.

Looks to be a full Paladin-esque D4 skill set, from basics to ultimates.

I assume is just a picture of that new cosmetic item that looks like a flail coming its way with Season 11, it could also very well be another mount trophy most wouldn’t care about or simply just a new mace based cosmetic skin for characters that can equip mace based weapons.
It does not equal new class like Paladin, but it does equal to the fine printed article where it is being mentioned that there will be a cosmetic set called “Brimstone Crusader” which is just a name for just another cosmetic set for the shop.
It’s a leaked image of a full skill tree that’s clearly Paladin based.

I read there that the Harbinger of Death’s battle area is swapping names with the D4 Forum to add an extra layer of corrosiveness. The Forum will now be referred to as the Lair of Loathing as a replacement.

Well I think this picture is either related to the same accidental leak where they were running a test build with name Paladin attached to it, or someone spent a great deal of time pixel copying some fake image which is possible with help of AI, I used to do this myself back in the day by hand when AI did not exist.
Managed to fool the creator at the time, but what I did was just for giggles and laughs as it happened in an enclosed circle with friends in a private website.
I wouldn’t think that art is fake though, it does look pretty convincing but my intial question is how do the icons from D3 crusader look like?
That could be a good reference point to see if there is any resemblance in terms of authenticity.
To see how tight a schedule feels like with the bare minimum for what they can squeeze out into a season in terms of development work, I just find it very surprising if they suddenly manage to release somethign that usually is months of work, I still expect a new class is saved for an expansion release.
The image of skills is months old. (OTOH the files with the “paladin” and “2.5” tags were also old.) OTOH it’s indistinguishable from a made-up piece of clickbait.
Just to be petty, I would much rather see the class be called Paladin than Crusader or just anything else that is more refreshing of a name, even if lore says that they cant return it does not matter, developers and writers can CHANGE lore to make rhyme a reason for ONE Paladin to return.
