I’d think that most people don’t “care”, but they “care” enough to post…so over all this entire Thread is “what and what”.

It falls along the lines of disgruntled people who are fed up with the game and decides to post on here that they are leaving and never coming back.

Point is- Do what ever makes you happy.

If posting on here and letting strangers know your intentions- that’s fine. I’m sure nobody is gonna change your mind about anything.

So you uninstalled before S7, kept up to date about the game only 1 month+ into S7, and now you’re telling us you’ll be keeping track of the game until Diablo shows up. Alrighty then, you do you friend.

In my previous topic that was censored, several replies were stating something like “see you next week”, as if I had been just salty and impulsive, and it really turns out they were wrong. I even did the same with Overwatch “2”, although that uninstall was just temporary, as I will return there next season (16) to get the Juno mythic skin.
But I think Diablo IV has become so boring I really do not have intention to return anytime soon.

I’d put money down it won’t change in the direction you want it to. For that matter it won’t change in the direction I want it to either. When you have people who are just copy+pasting D3, and then you have the VoH director wanting to double down on forced co-op content, it doesn’t look good.

I’m still curious about their roadmap for what they plan to do up until the expansion, but I’m not expecting a lot to be honest.

Was just pointing it out was all. There’s nothing wrong with keeping track of a game you are interested in, or you hope that gets better. I’ve done it for a few games, I just don’t write about it on their forums, or tweet, or leave a facebook message (no idea how that works I dont have facebook).

Don’t take this the wrong way though, there’s no harm in being social on a social media site such as this. Kind of the whole point in fact. I’m just the type who doesn’t make it vocal that I’m no longer going to be playing a game is all, I just straight up uninstall.

New World for example, I enjoyed it at first, then the devs decided to not listen to the player base, double downed on bad decisions, and about 6 months later decided they did the wrong thing. I watched some videos about the updates well after I had already left mind you. Wasn’t enough to bring me back and I haven’t played since.

I do not think this is an issue at all. Much less trouble than playing the game. For instance, I uninstalled GTA V almost 2 years ago and still follow news about the game.

I uninstalled Diablo IV just before Season 7 started, am doing very well and vouched to myself to reinstall this game when Diablo returns. I learned yesterday that 2nd expansion was delayed to next year and apparently there are even more expansions planned afterwards, so I guess it might take several years (3+ since 2023) for Diablo to return(??) in Diablo IV, and He might actually only appear on the final expansion!
Hopefully by then, Diablo IV will be improved enough to become exciting to play once again.

No one cares if you uninstalled or not.

No one can actually know if you did or if you’re full of it.

If you’re going to come to a forum and tell us you uninstalled and give a criteria of what it takes for you come back like you’re important. You have to expect to be heckled a bit. Especially on a D4 message board.

I did the same thing, I also uninstalled the game, but on December 6th, when POE2 came out, I now play Diablo 2 and on the 7th the D2R season starts. I am very happy where I am now, when POE 2 content comes out we will go there, Diablo 4 was a failure and will be forgotten.
