Starting a New Character From Scratch

Hello everyone,

Yesterday with the new patch I decided to start a brand new character, my second character overall.

I went Seasonal, began the game, and immediately had 10 Skill Points to assign, which surprised me. I realized it’s from finding all the areas in the map, and all the Altars of Lilith are still found as well. I was also able to get extra experience by claiming those bonuses on my map screen.

I expected content to carry over on the Eternal Realm, but I thought a Seasonal Character would truly be “fresh” and I’d have to look for/find everything again and certainly that I wouldn’t start with this Skill “boost.”

Is there anyway in the game to start a truly fresh character? I assume not.

You can get a fresh start on hard core. Nothing is shared between hard core and non.

Hardcore is a mode I’m not looking to pursue, but good to know.

Looks like every starting character I do now will get a bit of a boost.

Just think of it as the true baseline. It was the prologue bringing you up to level 1.

When you die in Hardcore you can’t play your character. For reowned you will get free skill points every season base on the amount reach for reowned. Other then that there’s no otherway to get skill points once a season has started. Non season to rack up reown points so it can transfer or sync to seasons that’s how a player can get 10 skill points when a season begins.

I suppose so, Level 1 with 10 Skill Points right from the get-go.

By Reowned, do you mean a new character?
