Spiritborn locked on Xbox

I can’t select spiritborn as a character, repurchased VOH ultimate.
It shows “unlocked” when I go to the VOH purchase screen, but spiritborn remains locked, tried restarting Xbox and game.

Same for me, Can’t choose the class. Ugh, a bad launch and now this.

Update there was a small update for Xbox and able to select it now!

I pre-ordered VOH and now that its out, i cant create a spirit born class. Xbox. It shows that i need to purchase the VOH to gain access to the content. (Even though i pre-ordered it) so even when i hit purchase, it shows 3 panels which all say unlocked (because i bought the ultimate edition) but when i hit back. It still says the spiritborn class is locked.

Same here. I tried to see if there are any new updates but nothing yet.
Worth noting that the icon for D4 is still Season of the Infernal Hordes…
Did anyone get their Gamepass voucher?

I bought the ultimate edition as well and my spiritborn is locked also this is annoying.

OK figured it out. For Xbox users you will need to manually install the expansion.
From the home page, make sure you are on/selected D4.
Press Start > Manage game and add-ons > Select Diablo IV (Game Installed)
Under Downloadable add-ons select the Vessel of Hatred (tick the check box)
aannnd install or something I can’t remember exactly…
Once it says installed then you should be able to select Spirit born!

This is beyond frustrating! Purchased DLC it shows as purchased but still unable to select new Spiritborn class!

Weird! It popped up for me like an update instal would, installed too fast for me to click it and voila. This release is crazy lol

Spritborn is locked. I made a Sorc and can’t even access the DLC and I paid for it two months ago?

I did that and now I can’t get into the main menu; keeps saying it can’t authenticate my account. Seeing some people saying it’s affecting those who bought the ultimate edition.

Xbox users all you gotta do is go to manage game and add ons > and go to manage game and add ons again under storage location and then you can click on the install and save and the update will pop up and atart installing. I hope this helped.

A 10MB add-on package had to be installed, as Cloudz7 mentioned, which is not installed automatically…

In the menu, select Diablo 4, press the button with the three lines on the controller, then choose the “Manage games and add-ons” option. Here, select Diablo 4 (where it shows 100GB+). Then, select Hatred and press the “Save changes” button on the side. Then, go to the updates menu, and it will install automatically. After this, the new class will be available!
