Sorcerers need to be nerfed!

Yes, sorcs desperately need a nerf. Like you, I also find Nm 70 scaled content to be incredibly challenging after all and the efforts of other classes should not be ignored.

No class should ever be nerfed unless it is a bug, or something very game breaking. This is a bug so it should be squished soon enough.

Like the dev team said, mobility is a huge advantage. It makes a class strong and should not be ignored. People are so wrong to only look at who can one-shot a boss. There are so many bosses in the gauntlet dungeons. I don’t see Barbarians having any edge over others. Data do not lie!

This was my first thought, too.
And if Barb gets a well deserved nerf of course all other classes need nerfs, too.
Just imagine the forums when Barb wasn’t OP for ONE season :rofl:

That means that infinite Charge should also be nerfed, doesn’t it?

Like I said. Data do not lie! The leader boards clearly shows that Barbs have no advantage over any other class. Charge is a very popular skill among barb players this season. They are not achieving much higher scores. It is a fact!

Strange. Rank 2 in 4-Man-Group has at least 3 Barbs in it. 4th profile is private.
That’s a fact. How can you explain that? Guess Barb is not as weak as you want him to look.
And in SOLO LB you only compete against other Barbs. So Sorc speed is irelevant there.

You should check the overall performance and not only the solo LB to rate the classes.
Sure, Sorc might geht more points in solo LB. But what about Barbs oneshotting everything or leveling insanely fast?

The previews actually showed an item with a Charge specific cooldown reduction.

I imagine they’ll yank the 9 second flat cooldown talent, then reduce the per-skill point base damage.

But we shall see!

OP sounds like the kind of person that called for conjuration skills nerfs while we were all playing the beta with lvl 25 characters lmao

I do not find it hard at all. Please stop judging people like that.

When you are in a NMD or regular dungeon, you spend most of your time running through and killing mobs. The boss fight will only take a very small percentage of your time spent. When you are in a vault, you do not even have a boss fight. Therefore, the class that has the best mobility skills will complete the content faster than others on a regular basis. This is a huge advantage. You get to save more of your time and do more stuff in a given time period. Therefore, the class is overpowered. This is not only about the gauntlet dungeon.

This is also not about if the gauntlet dungeon is hard or easy. Lv70 NMD or the gauntlet dungeon actually shows a better picture because other factors such as frequent death will not mess up the results that much. It is about the speed and efficiency. It clearly shows that sorcerers can move and clear through mobs and bosses way faster than others.

No one is saying Barbs are weak. We are saying Sorcerers are too fast and efficient in dungeons. This is also not only about the gauntlet dungeon. I am only using the data from the gauntlet dungeon to prove a point. If sorcerers are efficient in the gauntlet dungeon, they are also super efficient in so many other gaming contents. Also, like I said at the very beginning of the original post, “Since I am learning from this amazing community”. Even though it is not really my business if sorcerers are doing well or not, I shall complain and ask for a nerf just like what people are doing to barbs.

I have also seen sorcerer’s attacks falling on my enemies during helltides when the sorcerer is not even in my screen! Whatever those are called, ice rain, meteor, whatever. How big is their AOE effect???

So far, this so called “S Tier list” is only from some YouTubers and third part website. It is very subjective and not objective at all. There is no clear or universal standards set to determine what a S tier really is or means. I do not even know if Blizzard actually has enough data on their end to see the real picture. People are constantly complaining about a world boss fight that most people probably will only do once or twice a day at the most while each fight takes less than a minute even if there is no hota barb in the fight.

Low difficulty contents are boring and unattractive, agreed? So your sorcerer can pass through that boring and unattractive part of the game way faster than others while also achieving higher scores.

Ask Blizzard to give us a lv 80, lv 90, and lv 100 gauntlet dungeon, and we will see the data.

The lack of class knowlege is made obvious throughout your entire post, or this is decent effort (if mildy cringy) satire. Id suggest trying sorc out but maybe stick to barb, thematically suits you better.
