Sorc summary and improvment sugguestion

Sorc is the weakest class in PTR . Here are some major issues.

  1. Single target damage too low. This is the issue Sorc has since D4 launch. Please Fix it for Sorc

Suggestions: Change current paragons that damage increase to elites from additive to multiplier

  1. Most Sorc power are borrowed power

Sorc rely on borrow power from gears or aspect. Like FrostBurn glove, like fixed damage number from fixed damage number from Axial pants. The core skill and master skill damage are generally too low

  1. The damage gain from each skill rank is too low. Imagin how much effort you need to improve a skill from rank 5 to rank 20 but the damage increase from it may just equal to an aspect. Please triple current damage gain per skill rank

  2. Too many restrictions on damage multiplier and it limits build variety.

Suggestion, change all skill damage multiplier to elemental damage multiplier. For example, Permafrost now increase frost skill damage by x percent. Please change it to increases cold damage by x percent

  1. Most enhancement are too weak and useless. There are already so many feedback on this, please look into this.

its not borrowed power… aspects, paragons, affixes are regular powers…

What I mean is Sorc 90% Core/Mastery skill power are junk

Inconceivable!

I think at least part of the problem is sorc is actually fairly strong by comparison in lower levels so tweaking with base skill values could make that a bit bonkers. Seems to me this is why so much of our late game power comes from elsewhere. I do agree it is insufficient, but i think to fix it without making lower levels too out of whack (AOE) it would require either a total rework, or some kind of scaling, or for power to ramp up at higher tiers of passives, or paragon or items

whatever the particulars it is pretty clear that sorc is quite powerful at low levels and gets progressively worse the higher you go.
