how are they not hot fixing this ASAP
so they will not fix raw hide and iron chunks?
is a big problem that every 1 is facing
I’m not facing that problem, but then again I’m not madly replacing or enchanting my gear.
You can farm iron chunks in helltides. You just have to take the time to do it.
I salvage just about everything as opposed to selling, so I have never had a rawhide shortage.
Not trying to tell people how to play the game or anything, but near as I can tell, the intention is to not just go upgrading every piece of gear you find, especially when you’re still leveling. But rather, save your mats until you get your final or at least “good enough” end game pieces.
You shouldn’t have mat issues if you play like that. But I do not play like that. I try to at least do aspects and tempering (usually not affixes or masterwork) as I level, and ye, I do have issues. In particular, with hide. But I’m trying to do less of that. Especially since I do that and end up replacing that gear fairly soon anyways…

They did fix this in 2.0.3… now you get more iron and hide from auto-salvage rare/normal/magic items.
