Use a good build, if dont know how to do that just copy one from maxroll.gg
The temper system really makes gear obsolete. Get good rolls, get good temper….gear is done.
I have my necro min/maxed already and i am not even 100 yet.

I haven’t consciously picked up a rare since I was level 40 I think.
And mostly if I need gold I consider it.

I pickup weapons to sell out of habit, its a hard one to break.

Yeah me too, but when I came to realize I will never use the golds again, I mean I can always sell Legendaries also, I treat them like the new rare. Much like I ignored blues and whites before, now the golds are added to that list.
I do the Helltide event a lot and it will fill your inventory pretty quickly if you pick up yellows.
Unlikely. Getting masterwork mats will take alot of time even on necro
I was naughty and after season 3 I HARD moved to other games and only watched lil bits here and there about D4. I kept seeing all these tantrums etc about rares being useless and didn’t get it and decided I would just figure it out in the season.
Okay… yeah. They have one less affix than legendary.
That’s fine. I just need to shift my perspective to only considering legendaries in my lil purse. I can DEAL with a lot of the changes…
BUT…
WHY do I have to keep picking up temper things that when I try to use… constantly tell me I already have a better one? How is THIS a thing? We generally asked for a decent loot system and now my inventory is constantly being taken up by temper things dropping that SHOULD NOT DROP for me since I already have better tempers??
THIS takes me back to the mindset of: “What are they POSSIBLY thinking”?

Yeah temper things I already have a better temper thing of is a bit obnoxious. The loot might be kinda smart but it isn’t smart enough to know what I have!

perfect roll on optimal stats for every single piece of gear? sure you dont need it, but i doubt you have it lol
you are probably decently optimized, i wouldnt call that min maxing.

Perfect gear with whatever rolls, min….max perfect gear perfect rolls.
I am at min right now. I have all my rolls decent, just not perfect.
So doubt all you want. Don’t care.
What I doubt is the importance of 925 loot that seems to have pretty much all the same stat ranges as a 840 piece or whatever. Why even bother getting all 925 armor?
I can just push the Pit in all 825ish ilevel or whatever and be fine it’s kinda weird.
