So I was Afk { Not Hardcore }

And I managed to somehow die with one mob near me. the thing was it wasn’t really near me at all. I was alt-tabbed watching twitch, and by the time I clicked back to the game I was dead. But what was curious was the mob leashed back to its spot. I was on a slope, and it was far enough away to where it definitely shouldn’t have agrooed likeso. So this means this monster must’ve gone all the way around to attack me… and I just thought it was just the strangest occurance because in my head it shouldn’t have happend. I didn’t think monsters could path like that from a distance, but I guess if you’re afk in the wilds anything goes.

try looking at the map to port somewhere in a Helltide in T4 . The spawn rate is faster once they are all mad at you so u gotta time it just right sometimes… or find a cave entrance then portal !!!

Could be another player aggroed & it got close enough?

Also, they seem less ‘sticky’ when you’re on a mount (when stationary).

The pathing itself is hard to picture. Otherwise, might’ve been a different mob? (Checked combat log?)

Moral of the story: Don’t afk in hardcore. You’re welcome.
