So, I think it's time to safely say/conclude that

Sorry but can’t have it both ways - competitiveness and wide availability are 2 things that not only contradict but even diminish in quality one another

This is a mistake from the very beginning that has costed (and will continue to cost) the game a lot of players

And here’s the thing - the only thing it caters towards is greed (some people have it, but others that don’t got taken away from it), AND a huge portion of potential for growth for the game is taken away as well

“Regular” casuals don’t want to feel compelled to go all the way, and the players that DO want to go all the way want to feel like they’ve done something others haven’t

Like, literally terrible decision and terrible mistake (sure, enjoy the fact that you have the whole meal, or almost the whole of it)

But it will continue to diminish the quality of the end/game
