I’ve grown to love the big burly druid. Diablo has never had this amount of character customization in the past but now that they’ve opened this door, I would like to see big and skinny options for all classes as well as more hairstyles.
This. I don’t hate the large body type of druids, I get the appeal and the aesthetic. It’s just not for me. I just want options. In fact, I would love to have the druid’s body type as an option for barb’s. Would love to play fat muscly barb
Druid is perfect. Model looks great and Werewolf build feels right.
I personally do not disagree about that body shape being in the game. What I’m advocating for and I think what others are advocating for is to have more body types and/or a body slide added to character customization. That way everyone gets what they want. People who are howling about not wanting to be a druid right now are probably mostly just frustrated they can’t change it, because to a lot of people, appearance in the game really does matter. If it didn’t, Blizzard wouldn’t be able to make any money off of mog MTX.
I dont identify with any of the body types, and i dont care
Dont care about slim necro or big build druid.
The body types feel right for the setting and have personality for a fantasy world.
Cant say it’s a priority on my mind i play the class not the body type.
Druids are shapeshifters so use your imagination, they clearly can do a lot with their bodies
and for those arguing health, well , my druid can shapeshift and cast elemental magic, and run miles across sanctuary, i think they are fine. the spirit animals get rid of the diabetes and health issues.
This would be a good compromise, for a slight change in type i guess.
yup. Was me.
Then I found out they removed Fire from druid and now I’ll never have a reason to play druid lmao
It is odd, i mean sorc has lightning and so does druid, why no fire for druid?
Skill tree balance is all i can think off.
could have put it in aspects or something though
Molten rock boulder would look nice in D4
I get the sentiment, but it’s really hard to accept the Imagination argument when you’re interacting with a medium that is 50% physical input and 50% visual output. Like, how am I supposed to imagine a shapeshifter can be a body type i prefer, if i can’t actually make them shapeshift into that bodytype?
I just wanna throw fire snakes and summon volcanoes again T_T
Well, that is what imagination is.
you have to imagine, you can see the slender legs on the werewolf, just imagine that but not a wolf, or maybe as a half wolf if that is your thing, lol
trying not to go into specifics lmao
I get what you’re saying, but what I mean is using your imagination while consistently receiving visual information to the contrary. Not trying to get into the weeds either, just trying to say that it’s a cognitive dissonance, and one that most aren’t going to be able to get over
from the isometric view it doesn’t really come to mind often. for me.
But each to there own i guess.I see your side of it though needing the visual input.
all good man, i get your understanding too
The appearance of this class is quite displeasing, and I know individuals who are reluctant to play it solely due to the unappealing armor design. Moreover, when considering the lore associated with druids, this portrayal does not align with their traditional appearance. It’s puzzling why game developers would create a class that discourages players from choosing it due to its unattractive visuals.

To counter the fat shaming thread about Druids, thought I’d pop in and share my thoughts as a person of larger body identity.
We need more fat body types, not less. The idea that you can constrain us 300 lbs+‘ers to a certain class is stereotypical and constrictive. We come in all shapes, sizes, and races blizzard — get used to it.
It’s unreasonable to think that with my part time online community college schooling on gender studies and grinding for Uber Lilith I’ll have the time to maintain a super strict exercise routine needed to stay under 250lbs
In fact, the Druid is the perfectly healthy strongman build. /end rant
Larger body identity? Is that the current term for ppl who chose not to control their eating habits and expect others to find them just as attractive as if they were 50 to 400 pounds lighter? Got it.
You’re feeding the troll
He lives like a bear. Eating all the nuts and seeds and berries and…other stuff… that bears eat. Going through peoples garbages.
You have to stop Jerry! Your metabolism and increased caloric intake since you’ve adopted this Druidic lifestyle can’t keep up!

The sad thing is that I can’t tell if this is satire or serious anymore
I can tell. Not impressed.
Maybe to sell cosmetics except they’re bad too
Being fat is a personal choice except for a tiny 1% of cases with some illness.
Being fat is not healthy and should not be promoted. Same as smoking cigarettes.
