Skipping work for VoH

Who else is going to be playing hookie at work for the week of VoH release? I am going to be using most of my vacation days to grind VoH. 4 days is a lot of missed work, but a Diablo expansion is a super rare occurrence.

This will ensure that I can thoroughly play the new Spiritborn class, enjoy the new campaign, and find any little Easter eggs Blizz may have tucked away in the crevices of the new zone!

I am VERY hyped for this release. Who else is taking off work or just planning to no life the xpac the first week like me?

After Space Marine 2 I’m only taking off work for Monster Hunter Wilds.

Just my luck servers will be overloaded or down.

I try to take at least a week off every season release. You bet I took time off for VoH’s release. Not a time to think about coding, time to think about building my SB and slaying mass amounts of baddies.

Why would I take off of work (retired now) to play something in a game that will be around for several years.

I totally took a week off for this. Im Sheldon Cooper OCD about releases.

Tried to take a week vacation with VoH release, but only got it the week after release. Oh well.

Ive never been one to take extra time off for video games. Ill be grinding for sure on my usual days off.

5 weeks is better than most. Heck, most jobs I’ve looked at start at 14 days / year, which is terrible (but standard).

I’m disabled retired so I dont have to play hookie. Still, I dont understand why people take their vacation time for something like this. Most people complain they are done with a 3 month season in two weeks.

not skipping but I will try to get in game if I can remote that day. I do prefer weekend starts, but I know devs need to be able to address issues…

I work 3 days on and 4 days off so I’ll be ok… just have to make sure I’m not burnt out so I can grind all night.
