Skill points should be re designed

The latest mid season patch buffed ground stomp. It looks good from 35% - 80%, like double the damage. But the reality is it still sucks. Let’s say I have 20 skill points on it, then it’s going from 115% to 160%, which is only 40% buff.

This should be redesigned. For example, every 6 skill points should add the base damage. When I try so hard on stacking the skill points, I should be rewarded more rather than less. The game should be rewarding to who tries hard max the gears. Same the masterwork. Deal triple damage or more when masterwork hits 3+ on the affix

I think that was an initial design when the game was still in beta. Every so many points would meet a breakpoint where the skill would gain some extra bonus if I remember correctly. Of course they did not keep that design and changed it to the current…
