Unless it affects you directly is the only criteria that matters or is it a matter of “its only a game, bruh” because we can go back and forth all day on the detriment of self interest.

I’ll just say – based on nearly 30 years of gaming – that if your success with a given class is entirely dependent on an item, there is something grossly wrong.
Of course, we all know a lot of things are grossly wrong in this game. But honestly, I don’t see there ever coming a point at which I will feel that bad about this game & continue to play it. I’ll play until I finish the campaign, but at this point I can’t see continuing beyond that.

What does that have to do with trying to charge back things? All I was inferring that you might try but I highly doubt you will be successful.

a business’s reputation and current business practices as established major criminals who have committed multiple felonies and been fined many millions of dollars (like Blizz) have much less ability in the future to challenge those who point this out as a reason for a chargeback, for example
I’m just going to say. It’s these things that tend to happen when you go against the D2 game philosophy of having anything drop anywhere. You just had to have targeted loot… Is all I’m going to say. You had to have extra rules in place, special conditions, etc. Overly complicate basic, fundamental systems.
I see it as manipulation. Kinda makes you wonder what behind the scenes loot manipulation games do now-a-days. I see it as basically mental manipulation, gotta keep people interested. Gotta keep people playing. Gotta keep people logged in. Gotta keep people coming back. Since every game is now an online service, with paid passes, shops etc.

Not at all. You’re the one whining that people got lucky and got a shako or other rare items and are now acting like all of a sudden the game is somehow ruined for you because some people got lucky and got something you didn’t. When the game has no leaderboards, no competitive leagues, no PVP competition. No competitive balance. When the season starts in less than 2 weesk.
Ever heard of the word jealously? Envy? That’s you right now.
Anyone who’s even the slightest bit upset that people got easy shakos and want rollbacks are complete clowns and little entitled children. How do people like you cope in every day life when someone gets a little benefit or unfair advantage? Do you start crying like a child in public then too?
I don’t care if you get a rate drop in some bug event.
Just make solo level faster.

This whole situation is reminding me of the negative Pheon issue in Lost Ark awhile back.
Blizzard loses no matter what they do here, but the best solution I can think of is this:
- Let people keep Shako.
- Put Shako on a regular unique drop-rate on eternal realms.
But this dev team doesn’t seem to be rational with these items, so it’ll never happen…#2, at least.

Errr… A LOT of people didn’t know at all about that yesterday. I mean, I don’t watch YouTube or Twitch. I hate watching someone else play, so I obviously didn’t know about that bug where Uber Uniques dropped from Helltides at an increased rate.
I only did some Helltides yesterday, because why not? It could drop uniques now.
Sure, I didn’t get any, but if I got one, how would that make me a cheater/exploiter and worthy of a Ban?
