Not sure if the servers are just coming back online ā¦
but on console (ps5)
I logged out of bnetā¦ just select ālogoutā
Then when it says, āpress startā or whatever, exit game. Go back in.
I was queued for 4-7 minutes (regularly indicated). Then got right in.

Yep, that just worked for me also.
Same issue here. Tried to start a thread 10 min ago but didnāt seem to work.
Good news, bad news sort of day. I did what Fr0st said to do, i thought i tried that, but ok. The game logged in and went to the character page, same as before. Clicked the character and start/play/or what ever it was, now i have have a queued for game, 22 min.
Yeah still not having any luck. Iāve exited out enoigh times that i never got to the hour and a half wait time.
But now i have 35 minute que so thats promising
tbh going to refund if i donāt get in soon

Sat in a countdown queue for 24 minutes. Went to Start Game Pending, and been here for over an hour now. Scared to exit and log out etc since itās already been 1.5 hours. Xbox tried to go power saving mode 3 times already. Whatās the point of pre-order? Whatās going to happen on launch day when the whole world is trying to play. Blizzard you have got to do better than this, you should know how many copies of the game youāve sold vs how many servers itās gonna take if everyone who bought is online at the same time. Doesnāt seem that complicated to plan for.

I donāt think itās related to how many are trying to log in, there were literally no queues on the first day of Early Access and now almost no one can log in across all platforms. PC, PS5 and Xbox alike.
I got in just fine, no queues a few hours ago, logged out since I selected the wrong character, instantly hit with 25 minute queue and stuck in Game Pending Start. Something else happened.

Annoyingly, my wife and neighbors are playing right now. 3 different networks and all of them throw me into game pending hell. They have no issues logging in/out.
Finally in, 1hr 45 min wait time
How in the hell are you going to charge $100 for a game and canāt figure it out??? Donāt know why Iām surprised tho. Just like a beaten house wife at this point. Hoping youāll do better next time.
So, I had the genius idea (and Iām sure others did too), that Iād play Diablo 4 while in queue for Solo Shuffle in WoW. I got 5 characters to 2 vault choices (not too shabby) and then I got stuck with this. It sucks, but at least I got most of my Solo Shuffle goals done and was able to play D4 during those queues.
Now, I just really wanna level my big lumberjack Druid. Iām about to hang out at Blizzardās CS twitter, refreshing endlessly.
