I know this topic have been up before, but we’re almost at season 9 and I STILL have to sell each item, one by one…
An alternative could be a “mark all as junk” button, but a game with no real endgame other than farming a boss, that gets killed in a matter of seconds on the highest tier. Needs a faster way to get rid of all your trash items.
So for the love of god, CAN WE PLEEEEASE FIX THIS SOON!
Usually I only sell uniques I don’t need from bosses. Between boss fights I mark as junk the items I intend to sell. The vendor will buy all of your junk when you right click a junk marked item.
That is exactly why i need a “mark all as junk” button as an alternative. When Im farming Belial, I press the alter, kill the boss, pick up all the items, open the chest and leave all items on the floor and repeat. I don’t have any time between boss fights, if Im trying to optimize my time. I’d rather get to town, mark the one or two items I want to keep and then sell the rest.
At this point in need to mark the 30+ items I don’t need, which just seems ridiculous
I’ve never experienced it with the blacksmith, but if you do, do it my mistake at the vendor, you at least have the chance to buy it back. So it can’t get worse than it already is
Well yes of course, however as a safety measure, a person may want to favorite the ones they Do want while selling the rest, so they’d have to go through each item one by one to make they don’t sell everything at once…
After all if you do, you may not be able to “Buy back” an item you sold (because their is a limit of what you can buy back) all at once.
As an aside, you shouldn’t really sell your gear though. The salvaging materials come in handy (looking at you veiled crystals). If you’re pressed for gold whispers are a good place to start.
its not an excuse, but I shouldn’t have to mark 30+ items before going to town and it doesn’t matter where I do it. I should have to mark the few items I want to keep and be able to sell the rest, with one single click.
That’s a fair point, it’s more when i see something i interpret as “how dare this game make me wait 10 seconds” i get agitated but maybe thats my interpretation
Buy-back tab should have as many slots as backpack. If overhead is absolutely prohibitive (ridiculous!) can purge it sooner, say… as soon as char leaves town. It’s bad design, beginning to end.
No, placing player carelessness on the developer is just goofy.
There has to be a point where players have to take some kind of agency over the game and their behaviors.
Making everything you do not your fault is just … how can anyone develop that kind of game even?
I initially agreed with you but then read the above comment and realized, “Nope. Dumb people can’t be protected in that system.” I’m sorry, but we have to build to the lowest, and if a person doesn’t one-by-one confirm what they want done then they will argue that it’s not their fault that they did the thing and they should be able to reverse whatever it is all the time.
