Selecting a dialog option closes the dialog window without selecting the option

Observation:
Selecting a dialog option will sometimes close the dialog window without selecting the option.

Expected Result:
When the player clicks on a dialog option it selects that option and advances the dialog.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Talk to an NPC with a quest icon above their head.
  2. Use the mouse to left click a dialog option.
  3. Observe the window close and the dialog does not advance.

Notes:

  1. This doesn’t seem to happen every time, but it does occur with enough frequency to be noticeably prevalent throughout gameplay.

  2. This issue was observed when the user had selected move/interact only for left click in the control options. Unconfirmed for the other left click options.
