Seems Helltides are empty, hardly anyone does them

Done two helltides today, first one this morning i saw zero people, ran between events in scosglen and was on my own the entire hour. The next one this evening there was three of us running clockwise doing events.

I have noticed a lot less people doing world bosses but i guess as more and more people get higher level the rewards just arent worth it.

Oh yeah?

How many mega tribes you roll with?

Hit the thousands member mark yet?

Just what sample size are you using?

I’ve never seen this.

that would be me, after hitting 100 on my barb ive lost all desire to play until season one. I dont feel like chipping at uber lillith for 10+mins when every other class can do it in 100 secs.

Every time a play, I see other players everywhere. Literally. I do helltide and people run along my screen continuously, the I go to a random dungeon or a random whisper, and ideas matter what I choice, I encounter opeole doing the same whisper or at the entrance of that dungeon.

It is strange that witn a cap of 12 player per instance I found tons of people everywhere I decide to go.

Same and I play mostly with cross play off. Also 3/3 mastery is easily doable with three half decent ppl in, lol.

Personally, I hate them. The fact that you loose so much progress on death is a huge disincentive to play.

The fact that the minimap is garbage and you can’t pin your own locations make the whole experience just frustrating.

The exp is terrible, the loot isn’t good, and the mob density is far too low.

A group of try hards blew through the content in 1-2 weeks just like in poe and d3 and then went and did something else, just like d3 and poe, news at 11.

With how shallow the game is overall, 90% of the playerbase is going to be labeled a try hard by the white knights here.

Do you know what a White Knight is in the gaming world?

A white knight is someone who defends a thing regardless if it was a bad decision or not, they give blind support, what ever it is they’re defending can do no wrong, and the game makers decisions are always right.

Most of the time your white knights are the try hards because most of the try hards love the game so much that they basically live on it, and they are most commonly a games most blind supporters.

You casual is not normally a white knight. In fact it is the casuals that are bucking the seasons, they are the one most angry about the insane slog of a grind lvling.

I have a sneaking suspicion that there’s another exploit of some sort that people are doing that explains why certain activities that should be busy are not being played. A quick search turns up nothing, but there’s probably a new exploit for drops that make farming mystery chests a waste of time.

I did a legion event earlier, and it was only me and 2 other people who showed up. This is the weekend, it’s prime time.

Except after 3 re rolls the cost is so astronomical, you only have to do 1 hell tide every few days to stay up to current with mats.

3 rerolls?

I don’t think I got past 2. 3 was the max if so, for sure.

I don’t like the fact that I have to do helltides and be subjected yet another layer of rng to increase power.

While I don’t necessarily need to reroll items. I do need to get the last and most important upgrade on any new item I wear.

Lame!

once u farm couple hundred forgotten soul there really no reason to do it again until u run low. and judging by how expansive rerolling gear can be. most people wouldn’t reroll past 5 mil per roll. u better off just farm another one and reroll again. t

I like to make the infernal seas, I just think the rain of blood and the red map are cool. But at the moment I’m cool with the legendaries and the items that drop there and with that I’m making a dungeon where I can make bigger sigils and level up my glyphs.

There’s always people doing helltides in WT4. Zones are capped, which is a known mechanic, and the zones reset every single time you trigger another zone…again, another obvious mechanic. The party system is terrible, but if running helltides solo really bothers you, there are ways to find clans/ppl to party with.

The game is likely suffering die-off.

That and people rush through the Helltides, as the only enjoyment from them comes in the form of loot you can gain…

So, you find those Mystery Chests, get them open, then leave. Done.

Here is a thread detailing what I feel would improve Helltides:

The thread about improving Helltides.

Yup, players soon realised what they had gotten into and bailed to a better game. Not very surprising.

a lot of people playing in tier 4. but very empty in tier 3.
