Seasons are for trying new builds on new characters and stepping out of your comfort zone. I’m not sure what games those of you who are against seasonal resets are comparing this to, but playing the same character forever is not something that will retain a player base in a game like this. That’s why seasons were created in the first place. Just because other games that have terrible gameplay and annoying leveling like Destiny 2 allow all characters to participate in seasons, doesn’t mean that now they define the seasonal concept. Their games are a pain to level a new character in, so that is why they let you keep using the same old character over and over. Not to mention, they lack any real diversity in terms of builds.
