Season resets are a big no

The ID 10 T kid also forgets Hogger killed a lot of alliance because they tried to solo. That was level 10. He/She whatever it is doesn’t know much

You are looking in the mirror man. Everything you use as a insult comes from some RL issues.

It’s a forum, keyboard warrior, touch grass.

Tell that to Bungie and Neverwinter. Both marketed as MMOs.

Really? Touch grass? Ok now I know your a kid or at least have the maturity of one. lol pathetic

Real rich. Read your own posts.

So you are? You try to deflect without a simple defense. Stay classy kiddo

As if a marketing person ever go anything right.
12 people is FPS territory. It’s not MMO, no matter what buzzword those marketing goons are trying to sell. The marketing department of a company is the people who are paid to lie about the products, to sell more of them.

Defending against stupid doesn’t get anywhere. You’re just trolling at this point, trying to get a response. As much as I like putting internet trolls in their place, I got better things to do.

I got that Huffy bike to go ride. (How you missed that reference and age of that bike shows me you aren’t very smart)

lol back to trying to insult me. Another (someone disagrees with me so I’m going to call them dumb). All I did was call you kid and clearly you are. You can’t nor will put anyone in their place. You have no argument to stand on. Keep it classy kid and get some sun.

Really you made a claim on your age you can’t support, prove or backup over the internet. Get smart

I didn’t say most endgame content but most content. Playing through the story, doing world bosses, daily quests, crafting and so on. Only raids is what you need groups for and ofc that’s important but it’s not the majority of the game. Neither is it in D4 but it has a lot of MMO related content not necessarily tied to multiplayer but simply long term progression a single character which directly goes against ignoring that character and playing the same class on a new character 3 months later.

Different design philosophy with different intended goals over an intended period of time. Stop trying to compare the endgame of an PvE mmorpg that has changed vastly over 2 decades to an arpg with some mmo elements added in. Now your just looking bad.

I guess by your bad logic you can choose to not enter WT3 because you don’t want to do the ‘solo’ dungeon in diablo that allows you to enter. Don’t worry I hear it’ll take a long time to get to level 60 but it can happen. You’ll never max your build or get bis loot but do those blue quest. After all you have more quest than actual different dungeons. At this point you clearly are trying to keep your bad pov alive. Have a good day kid

?
I just wanna do all the content, all the world tiers, all the quests, all the grind with my main characters and that will take more than 3 months.

Ok so do it. No one is stopping you. Your not meant to do all classes with all bis gear in 3 months. They hope you play for years.

This is an always online game that will easily sell millions of copies.
Meaning millions will take part in this online game.

If that isn’t “massive multiplayer online” game then you’re absolutely clueless.
Nothing about “MMO” implies that all players have to be contained within the same city or town or that they have to be seen by all players.

Then why would anyone withhold new gear to grind for from me doing that

No one is keeping anything from you. Are you some lost puppy?

Nah, but I’m also not a greedy business person who tries to lure people into resetting their progress over and over again in order to farm for new items

Huh? You are a lost puppy… Marketing a game to an audience and delivering to that audience is not greed. That’s good business. Did you know they have a place for people who don’t want to play seasons? As luck has it you’ll get what the seasons offer once over. Actually it sounds more like smart business and your selfish.

Who told you it would take more than 3 months?
The seasonal content will probably be doable in a few days, maybe a week or two at most. Getting to 100 and ‘completing the season journey’ might take longer, but that’s just playing the game in general, the actual new seasonal stuff you’ll get through in no time most likely.

You also can continue playing your characters in Eternal realm for as long as you want, so if you want to do ALL there is to do on 1 character, have at it, nobody is stopping you.

You can have a separate character in Seasonal (actually have to, because they’re not doing Rebirth, at least for now).

I feel like you just don’t understand Seasons, and that’s ok. I didn’t understand them when I started them in D3 many years ago, but I enjoy them and usually tell me wife that i’m locking myself in my office for the weekend when the season starts, because I enjoy the start of season.

Agree with op completely and happy they had the stones to say it so when forum-dwellers are always so welcoming and positive. The only other game doing this is PoE and when I found out D4 is copying them the years of excitement I had for the game vanished. Why would they not continue to evolve the seasonal model along the same path as immortal, the most recent game, where players keep a main character for new content?

If they had come out years ago and said, “You will not have a main character or any long-term progression” the interest would have tanked. The whole concept was sold on the hype of Diablo finally getting the open-world live service treatment and PoEs eternal realm/seasonal char graveyard model isn’t compatible.

Everyone who feels this way should be making threads. Maybe they’ll change course and “delete the auction house” to save the game.
