DoT ticking for trillions and monsters still go down slowly, in a pit 115.

Even D3 GR 115 isn’t this ridiculous.

yes the pit scaling in season 8 is crazy amount of hp the mobs have but the hp is not that bad the thing i hate the most is the damage reduction aura mobs that you have to kill in every pack so your killing the mobs 2 times on every pack.

Pretty impressive considering the changes to S8. Anything above Pit 65 is just icing on the cake. Looks fun.

Yep - I’m so hyped for 8 minutes of banging my head against a DPS sponge boss with no interesting mechanics - ands that with everything maxxed out. Can’t wait for S8, I want to begin my snail pace crawl through it right now.

Season looks so bad I decided to skip it for now unless they do something drastic. First skip for me. See you in August for S9?

Both LE and POE2 will be launching new seasons in April week 1 so if you have either there is plenty to do.

POE 2 official launch is april 1? Is this joke?

LOL, I assume they are referring to the PoE2 0.2.0 patch which is bringing some new things and revamps to the Early Access.

It’s not the game launch, or a new season.

I personally really enjoy PoE2 combat and gameplay. But the end-game systems, currency etc is mentally exhausting. Just thinking about it stop me from playing it sometimes.

Yeah not official launch. The new patch.

There will be a reset, for POE2. So it will be like a new season if you want to play with the new stuff.

Hopefully that fixes the out of hand economy; at least for a while.

Wow, it certainly is looking based on the PTR like Blizz really scrooed the proverbial pooch with this upcoming season. 15 min to complete pit 115 with fully maxxed out masterworked gear, paragon, and seasonal powers. SMDH.

I had time to try a S-tier burn sorc (similar to this) and Rob’s so-called THE ultimate barb. Gear not fully masterworked, but otherwise ancestral, tempered, runed along with P300 naturally. Had trouble clearing pit 65.

Sounds like Blizzard achieved their goal of making pit 150 out of reach.

Bro if you had trouble with a Pit 65 something is wrong. I took off all the season monster powers to get a gauge compared to S7, and was able to clear T78 with Incinerate. The same build topped out around T100 in S7 (but this also had S7 powers… so probably closer to T85 without).

Everything on T4 like lair bosses and open world (except Lilith), was still fairly easy and manageable.

I agree completely.

And something that YOU are doing could not possibly be it? Has to be the game/content?

Based on my 368h of gameplay this season and P300 this and last season and along with my S0-S5 experience, I’d have to say yes, it’s you D4, not me.

But honestly I don’t really care what you think (or really anyone else) on here about my judgment on S8’s prospects based on the PTR. I got to express my opinion through the PTR feedback screen, which is really all that matters.

i don’t think it is a bad thing that pit 100 is the new goal and grind for most classes anything over 100 is just meh since glyphs only level to 100 but the grind for power in season8 is going to be insane leveling to 300 paragon is a must then the countless invasions you need to clear for the new boss power levels and the endless grind for master working mats that used up so quickly and they made group play a must for bossing since you get more looot in a party of four

Just sayin… if I can clear T78 with ZERO boss powers, with a non-meta setup… while you are having issues in T65… might not be the content.

368 played doesn’t necessarily speak to expertise. Not when most people just copy online builds and play them. You could have played 400 hours and have zero clue how to make a build (using your own logic/reasoning/knowledge), or adjust for changes to the game (like we have now)… Not saying that is the case, just that it’s possible as a scenario.

The amount of “which one is better” posts I’ve seen from people P200+, because they actually don’t know since they’ve only ever copied META build, is alarming.
