I will admit that the first few lines had me asking myself “is this real?” but after reading the entire post I came away with the conclusion that this is a genuine post by a real person who experienced this season in some ways very much the same as me and in other ways dramatically differently.
I felt there was some praise and some questioning and criticism. perhaps OP lead a bit strongly with a controversial positive take on SB which caused many to stop reading and miss questions like “Do you not care about RMT gold” etc.
You have to account for the fact that different people have different priorities in a game and perceive the “reality” of the game differently as such. I don’t think there is any need for a specific piece of feedback to resonate with anything or anyone let alone everyone. I find the outliers most interesting, and they make me want to understand why a person felt that way .
Also, if the best they can do to deflect the wide-ranging disappointment and criticism of this season is to make fake posts on their own internal forums, then they may need the services of a good PR firm/consultant
I mostly agree with the OP, the seasonal mechanic was meh this season but all in all it went pretty well though more due to the expansion content than the seasonal. My primary concern going forward is that there is more end game pinnacle content and sadly there is nothing really added there in 2.1.
I’d love to see the capstone dungeons that were used to unlock WT3 and WT4 in vanilla brought back as Pinnacle content, just give both dungeons a small intro quest, golden gate icon on the map and unlock them after a player clears pit 100 and have them balanced around pit 100 difficulty.
I love this idea! maybe even one at 80-85 and one at 100? to not have so far of a gap between 65 and 100
You could even have higher drop rates for obducite and multi-GA ancestrals to help players trying to push further in pit, and if you had to clear high pits to unlock these, then it wouldn’t make the power so accessible that it made t4 trivial until after that character was already at that point. Although you may have to make it a solo clear to unlock (like the Lilith title) to avoid carries unlocking for everyone before they reached this point in the power arc.

If you want to be a troll, try therapy maybe because those poop posting replies aren’t helping anything. If you do not want to read my post, no one cares. Its a waste of time, energy, and effort to reply saying ‘I won’t read it’ or ‘you need a tl;dr’. If that’s all you have to say, don’t write it. No one cares about those opinions or anyone’s opinions of myself.

Bullies project their insecurities off onto others like that. Wasted comments all around in that regard by people who probably need medication for their issues. People are totally allowed and entitled to their opinions but it is not constructive to criticize a person. Critique ideas in post and not people posting them. That’s Blizz’s rule for forum posts. The idea of complaining about someone for speaking their mind is antithetical to the entire point of being in these forums. You want to talk about the game, please feel free especially if you disagree. As long as you point out how you disagree or contribute to the actual conversation, you’re good. Trolling me or others is idiotic.
Posting my reviews is a thing I am known for doing in the AAA dev world. When I get involved in a game I like, I am known for being a positive member of gaming communities so my feedback is valued by the people who actually matter. Trolls do not.
Devs in other games do make adjustments after waiting for my feedback in particular because of the value it can bring and because I am trusted for my input. If you want to help the game, feel free to be a positive community member and contribute positively. If not, feel free to move along.

Totally love this idea btw. I absolutely agree that these dungeons should be still in the game for other purposes. It would be great to have them for some other type of rewards like additional ancestral apsects or something else. I will be sure to add this to my list of recommendations for the devs. Thanks for the valuable input!
tbh, it doesn’t annoy me so much but I do enjoy talking smack back. In some sense, you can argue that it’s kinda what I do professionally speaking being ‘counter’ in response to bad people. I was literally recruited for my ability to trash talk and back it up.
Full on agree, D4 has some issues. With that said, it has come a long way since launch and it is very enjoyable. Great visceral action and stress relief. I cannot imagine why people have so much ‘hate’ for something they put so much time into. Why waste the time to trash talk in forums when they clearly can just go elsewhere and literally do anything else. If they don’t like it so much, there’s the door! We won’t miss em.

Yeah you right. There are a lot of things id change in both games. I have talked about D4 a lot.
The other game has some real issues , like the one time death portals. No balance between ES and HP , this ezited in the first game to. Performance issues which came from the first game , prolly coz of same engine.
But it also does a lot of things right , like itemization , skill and support interractions, boss fights are awesome and ofc decent endgame for an early access game.
for sure, i felt disappointed about LE, and Poe2 gives me some problems by now as well.
buuuut, i think normal players just switch games. Funny, considering how often these forums talk about metrics we are still engaged no =P?

People call me an irl Nick Fury all the time and he’s really good at being in multiple places at once in the comics. However, I never thought I would ever be accused of being able to go back in time, create a separate account, and pretend to be multiple people in an online gaming forum apparently just to win an argument with a troll.
