Seriously though, one more rotation like this where team 1 sh1ts everything and then team 2 comes to clean the mess after that and I am almost certain that the whole team 1 will be fired.
Well, Jackson has been AWOL basically since right after BlizzCon so hopefully he’ll have something good for us.
We all know the big itemization changes aren’t coming until Spring with S4, but hopefully S3 will at least deliver on meaningful balance changes and addressing the Duriel problem.
I refuse to even touch S3 if all it’s going to be is more Duriel spam.
Same here. That’s why I used AOZ to max out all my glyphs on 3 characters and farm the ubers during the holidays to prepare for highly possible Eternal season.
What do you imagine, is an Eternal season, and why do you think it is “highly possible?”
Season 3 theme is D3 challenge rifts + Slay (insert a monster type) and steal their powers. Enjoy!!

It’s 3 months Winter Eternal season, while the official Season 3 is over. Basically, just hibernating in the Eternal until spring when S4 comes. And it is highly possible because I don’t see what changes they would implement to make most people want to play Season 3. Are they gonna bring 15 more stash tabs to allow people to play more characters and try more builds without a single mule being necessary? Are they gonna implement loot filter, remove the useless afixes on gear, add meaningful ways to farm the ubers? Add other ways to farm 925 items? 90% of these things will most probably come in April with S4. Until then - Eternal Winters is coming!
15 stash tabs?! lol i have 6 100s on seasonal softcore and no stash problems. stop hoarding trash? also i agree casuals will probably play eternal. if they move summoning mats to materials page like i think they will casuals will be sad they have to farm their own mats for duriel runs instead of buying them from rmt sites. they will want to play on eternal with the ubers they got this season because they wont be able to earn any next season. perhaps because all the casuals will be in eternal we will have less people cry about leaderboards

i would again suggest stop hoarding. 50 spaces in 1 tab. 10-12 pieces of gear per spec, although a lot of specs would re-use certain gear like shako. so even with your suggested 7 specs you should still have plenty of tabs.
Not to mention those Uniques can go across classes as well. Having chest or pants that auto stuns or does more damage to stunned mobs is useful no matter what class you play.
I hope it’s something different than a copy / paste of Season 2 and Helltides.

I smell a season 3 mess. Isn’t this the first season they weren’t working on before the release of the game? As in, season 1 and season 2 were both in the works before June 6, 2023.
