Oh for sure, I would never run without at the very least one CC breaker (and if you only have one, it better be on a short cooldown). But nevertheless, you still get caught out sometimes, no matter how careful you are. And there’s always fringe cases.
My barb has it rough sometimes because I use Iron Skin + Aspect of the Iron Warrior as the CC breaker. And, well… Iron Skin will not allow you to use it if you’re at full life. Which is great, in that it won’t let you ‘waste’ it accidentally, but… when you know something BAD is incoming and you want to pre-emptively (instead of reactively) trigger it, you can’t.
The same barb also gets caught with his pants down because of the way Iron Maelstrom works. If you get CC’d while in between stages of that attack, all of your action bars are locked and you can neither use your other skills, or break out of the attack.
Honestly I’m not sure either, it’s possible, but I only really started noticing it this season. Could be purely coincidental though. It’s not like we ever really need to use many scrolls, so that’s not a lot of test data.
