Just popped back on hardcore after hitting 300 on soymode and I grinded to around 250 hc para and still no soe. lol wtf goin on here terry?

they have been removed.
I’ve had one so far…and I’m close to P284 now…sucks hard
I only found two with about 105h played. I got the first one at hour 62 and the second one at hour 102. I got the second on yesterday or the day before. I found both in the open world. Unfortunately, I died yesterday with both on my guy. So, they are still in the game just very rare now.
It’s now really important to only keep 1 on your guy and the rest (if any) in stash. I made that mistake with boss mats before but losing spare scrolls sounds even worse lol.
I have a theory that because scrolls were “normal” items when game was released (white text that was later changed to orange), the VOH loot rework accidentally super nerfed them because white items no longer drop after level10 and instead drop as salvage.

ok my clanmate has 2 soe’s so yeah they exist.

I can confirm they do exist. Total collected 6 scrolls so far. And they all dropped from open world activities like helltides. They don’t seem to drop in dungeons, so no pits, IH, NMDs, undercity. At least I don’t think so? One even dropped when I was levelling an alt on expert, so I don’t think they’re restricted to torment difficulties.
Yeah. The drop rate is so absurdly low that it pretty much has to be a bug.
I found 3 early on. They were all from dungeons. Having said that, they were all in dungeons below Torment difficulty. Which might be an interesting fact. Or could be completely coincidental, who knows?
I did just finally find one more in T3 Helltides, just now. So certainly in Torment difficulty, I have also personally only seen them as open world drops.
Scroll of escape or not, you’ll still get killed by Fenris…
