Killed the fathomless one and the fight is still ongoing. Cannot complete or leave the arena without traveling out.

Similar issue with Fathomless One fight. Cool boss mechanic BTW. Afte being eaten and having to fight through the inside I think it’s supposed to shoot you outside the boss instead for me the camera bugged and flew rapidly south past buildings and inside areas to the point of a black screen. The boss health bar was still up and thankfully I was able to kill it. After it died the camera(thankfully) went back to the boss area. Unfortunately no time to grab a proper screenshot. Definitely a bug that should be looked into
I had the same problem, I think I was killing it too fast. There’s something that has to happen during the fight (don’t want to spoil it) for it to finish.

Still an issue. Just got stuck in the boss arena too. I can’t even teleport out/leave dungeon.

Just change your difficulty level to NORMAL.

Same bug on the Xbox One.
I was out of range of the… Special attack, so it didn’t get me either.
I shall also try the Normal difficulty fix.

Still a bug. Never ate me, killed him, can’t complete.
This is not a bug it’s just obscure. There’s no clues in the game as to what needs to happen here. did that whole dungeon and killed the fatherless one, got trapped, had to leave the game because after I killed it, I was trapped on that little beach with no way out.
Spoiler - don’t read the rest if you don’t want to know how to finish it.
I was killing it too quickly. T12, not normal. You don’t have to change your Torment level. Run back and forth on that beach and stand in front of his mouth ever so often. He will eventually eat you. You will not lose any health. You end up inside him. Tthere’s 4 things you have to destroy they show on the map as little squares. I was using Subo so maybe they won’t show if your not. After you destroy them, you will get spit out back on the beach. Now kill him. You’ll complete the quest and the altar will now be on the map. That path on the left is no longer blocked. That’s where the altar is. Click it. Done!
There is nothing in the game that tells you how this works. There should be a note in the quest log that says “he will eat you. This is necessary to complete this stronghold” or something. I wasted several hours doing this whole stronghold routine 5 tunes until I read the post here that says don’t kill him too fast, he will eventually eat you and you’ll be inside him. It’s like any other dungeon inside him. When you finish killing everything he’ll spit you back out.
