I want to. If you dont you can play D3

Ive seen this post and thought maybe it was a little too extreme. Then I finally ran a vault. I second this motion

i really don’t care i play seasons for one reason and that’s to lvl up a new toon, in my case a shred build druid and if i like the theme i will play it like s2, now i really don’t so i wont do the seasonal stuff, but like i said it’s personal and if you like the trap thing and robot have fun.

Consider that a universe exists in which developer meetings concluded that we’d enjoy running the exact same vault dungeon layout all season long.

If they don’t have the creativity & tech to spawn their season mechanic into any dungeon, the way PoE does, they are way, way behind.

Traps suck, and they suck infinitely more when you’re constantly doing them in the exact same dungeon, because some bozo thought it would be cool to put all the rewards there.

This is a fact.

Devs from game companies will cry about being critiqued harshly, but then again, they dont listen to anything when we are constructive.

Name one arpg where an entire story was dedicated to traps like this season is.

POE had a league dedicated to it, and its widely known as the worst league they made. Most people left within a few weeks.

Arpg genre as a whole is all about hack n slash, mob density and boss farming endlessly grinding for loot. Most have traps, but theyre sprinkled in and maybe constitute for 1% of the overall game, the rest being building your character, gearing them out then smashing after the main storyline.

I don’t think this is entirely correct. An arpg is simply an action roleplaying game.
