Is it? I’m not up to date with the camp chat, maybe 4-5 minutes late.
As long as they don’t buff Quill Volley, they can buff almost every other SB skill and it will simply bring more build variety which is good. I hate Quill Volley. Thing is, in most cases, unless it’s a x5 modifier, it’s going to be bad compared to Quill Volley, which is a shame.

I made a build on Toxic Skin. I can’t kill Duriel in 0.1 seconds but i can kill him in 4-5 seconds. The build works great. But since it can’t kill Duriel in 0.1 seconds, they wanted to buff it and similar builds. Popularity… They know very well how to exploit the weak people.
It really is a terrible game. I’m pretty sure lead class designer is someone who doesn’t even play the game and has no interest in it.

I actually like the Combustion buff since I am heavy into Burn/Combustion Sorc builds prior to SB

Yeah, that part was cool. I don’t see anyone using Incinerate for high Pit, though. We’ll see.

Why are people like this? Only ones buffed were underperforming skills. Literally who cares? People are so overdramatic.

they buffed Toxic skin 30% to 36%. this build is going to be even crazier
Remember there’s more buffs to SB. They only mentioned some in the chat. There’s more in the patch notes
Nice to see they buffed the skills I use actually.
Thorns still doesn’t scale nearly as hard as it needs to though.

The buff to the under utilize skills is a package of overall nerf to SB, which we can experience soon in the PTR. It is not a secret that the PTR is another mini season, can’t wait to try the post bug fix and balanced SB next month

That poster that predicted SB buffs got it right lulz. Hilarious. Meanwhile we still have dupes, resolve 18 stack meta items, ruined economy, filled storage, and so on and so forth and will be getting recycled events. They cant even match the OCT one they just did. Just going to do the red cloak thing one over again. What a letdown of a campfire.
But sure lets buff some SB skills in midseason just cause!

Build variety isnt stronger.
In fairness, they buffed skills that no one’s currently using and will continue not using because the buffs are so small.
A lot like the buffs all the other classes got.

The buff to Combustion sound interesting, cant wait to boot up my firebolt sorc alongside SB. At least I no longer rely on shatter the boss in Pit.
This change open up a proper build for fire sorc after they patch the shatter double dipping in S7.
When they mentioned not increasing stack sizes because of dupes I nearly fell out of my chair.
To use that as an excuse when dupers have been selling stash tabs full of mats for the past 4 seasons is mind blowing.
