Making us farm materials to summon duriel is so dumb. Add it to nm dungeons if anything. Not helltides and whisper tree. Nobody wants to run overland events over and over when overland is so brain dead easy.
A lot of us are. I have given it until S3. If the game isn’t better by then, it’s definitely time to pack it in.
I’m with you on the re-skinning and having to farm materials to take on bosses, but this IS just a season.
Yes it should be fun. Yes it should have content, but it isn’t a whole new expansion or anything. A lot of seasons went off something simple from which you make a complex builds. Do I find this particular season incredibly inviting? Not really but that’s mainly because I have no interest in any of the seasons/expansions until they show they are doing something significant with itemization going forward.
I did like a lot of what they said they are doing. Overall, I think it was good stream and I do think it showed they are trying to get this game to a better state, but the looting is still garbo.
I mean, the game is going to be better by season 2.

Yea no - that’s what you want to see. The vast majority of people aren’t even here anymore - they are gone, never coming back. There are MANY people, on the forums, on reddit, on streamers/influencers live streams and videos who still aren’t happy. I’d agree that generally - people who are still around or paying any attention think what was announced yesterday was positive, a step in the right direction. But the vast majority of responses I’ve seen here and elsewhere in total still aren’t content, or excited, and think the game is still fundamentally broken and not worth playing. That being said, I think a bunch of people are now thinking that in another 6 months+ the game MIGHT be worth playing, where as before they figured the game would never get there because the devs weren’t listening.
A step in the right direction, but this is still a dumpster fire of a game, they’ve finally got the hose turned on though, but they need to put out a whole bunch more fire, and then still rebuild something actually worth playing.

Its exactly the D2 uber system, its not dumb. Having some of the OW changes is great because your not pigion held to only nm dungons.
People complain there isnt enough content so they do x,y,z to give people incentive to do more than nm. People than complain they only want to do nm dungons.

The fact they do anything is nice because it doesnt matter what they do. Ppl going to hate D4 for the sake of hating D4.
Its that sense of entitlement of “i want it developed exactly how I want it.”
It wont be to long before ppl QQ about the durral keys and how farming bosses is a “chore” in an aarpg designed to kill things.
The forums will be full, few days after release of S2. Because they will attempt it, they won’t get any drop the first 5-10 tries or die, or moan that it’s slow.
Just you wait.
This is the classic mentality of people that don’t play games, but want to change them, so that they can play 2 hours more, eventually, one day.

Didn’t play season 1 for even 1 second. Won’t play the game again until they add loot filters and an auction house. Sorry not sorry, but poe has ruined everything to come after it.
