How poorly a person should understand ARPG in order to write something like at least in D3. Dude, D3 is garbage, was, is and will be. The worst ARPG in the history of mankind. You should not even compare something with it so as not to look stupid.

No seasonal release is going to fix the game at present, the problems are at the core of the main game, items, dungeons, lack of any multiplayer features etc.
One issue IS lack of content, but seasonal timed features wont fix this, the game just needs to feel less empty in general. Why the actual **** are world bosses still on 6 hour rotations? Nobody plays them, not only because they are often at times when people are busy (events on timers = bad) but also because they are less rewarding than most other content in the game, just have one up all the time!! Have a helltide up all the time! THEN add more to the empty world map.
It was a half game at release, it may be a full game in a year but they have a LOT of work to do before I even consider buying any kind of expansion.
And yet, it is more popular 10+ years after release than D4 is a couple months after release. So no, it’s not even close to being one of the worst. D4 is LITERALLY THE WORST ARPG in history, and one of the worst GAMES in history, of ANY GENRE. That’s bad. That’s beyond bad. That’s just fking sad, kid.

Id rather crap in reverse than play D4. Season 2 isnt moving the needle on that opinion.
I kinda think Season 2 was essentially already done too or mostly like season 1 and all they can do is tighten the screws so to speak. I think Season 3 and the expansion better be LIT or they will be done cause of POE 2. Im not a POE fan at all but POE 2 looks interesting enough to get me into it.
I heard through the grapevine that… Ok, let’s begin at the beginning.
People speculate that we’re gonna get these new powers via jewelry slots like we did in S1. I can’t speak to that. However. The trailer portrays us hunting vampires, but I heard that you actually turn into a vampire. This could mean that you get vampire like abilities or maybe just big life leech, I’m not sure.
Overall though, I still ain’t hyped for it. D3’s final season with new content kicks off in a week though so at least there’s that.
I wouldn’t generalize everything like this. Mostly caps-locking and putting stamps. It is a pointer to frustration and dissatisfaction. It is normal to dislike something, but there are far worse ARPGs than Diablo 4. Cough* Realms of Ancient War (RAW), don’t play that. There are many that tried in this genre and failed miserably. Yes, the game is in a bad state, but don’t think ARPGs are a good streaming content. They are not. Same goes for MMOs. Streamers follow a line of “if its new stream it”, making bucks is more important to them. Lot of games are healthy without them.
Diablo 4 is not sitting well right now. But all of this is generally nonsensical screaming at a wall.
It definitely needs to offer us more than S1.
For the amount of hype S1 garnered itself, there wasn’t much to it.
And it’s definitely not end-game content.
Seasons should always focus on content that does not revolve around dungeon grinding and can be done even at Lvl. 100 and also is fun. This is what makes Seasons difficult, finding new things like this and making sure they’re fun for the majority.
rename “malignant hearts” to “vampiric powers” and you have S2.
Yeah i lost hope lol, this game is fun for a short time, but in comparison overall, it’s one of the worst in the series, second only to immortal. It’s clear the new dev team is focused on greed, and because of that the diablo series will never be the same, RIP.

This is exactly what people were saying on the run up to season 1, “season 1 better be a banger or game is toast”. They gave us double bosses and boring gems and the game was toast.
Unless there’s a system, content, and loot overhaul on the scale of what D3 experienced pre-RoS, D4’s second season will probably fall flat, too.
You can decorate a house with weak foundations any which way you want, but it doesn’t change the fact it has weak foundations.
