Am I the only one with this sh*tty rubberbanding and delay in inputs? Since the new patch this game is unplayable, checked my internet connection, turned off crossplay, absolutely did everything I could and it rubberbands like a mf… even tried few different DNS and it still “lags” and because of that I have random oneshot from bloodsoaked bosses, before patch there was no issues. And yeah, I get it, some people dont have that issue, sometimes I dont have it too, but I have to re-enter liar or dungeon few times before it fixes
Nope, the game is unplayable for me today. I’ve reset my router and all my other devices work fine. My PS5 accesses online play for other games just fine. Diablo 4 has lag and rubber banding so bad that it took 30 seconds for a pit boss to spawn. Other times input would freeze for 10-15 seconds.
So you basically have it even worse than me. Funny enough - before last patch everything was great, no issues. But the last patch made it sh**ty AF.
I went back and played some more late last night. Cleared the pit runs I was aiming for just fine but when I went into Infernal Hordes it rubber banding got so bad I died multiple times and failed the dungeon. The timer even froze. No enemies on the screen, just me running around still going through my attack pattern as best I could without proper animations. Then an explosion of motion and I was dead. Such a pity. I was enjoying coming back with a sorc after starting out with paladin and feeling bored with it at the start of the season.
I play on the PS5 in Austria. I am connected via the landline/copper wiring. The console is connected directly via cable to the modem(which is also the router in my case). I have changed LAN ports, I have changed DNS servers, switched between IPV4 and IPV6 as main, I have turned off any eco energy saving features, I have disabled any form or port filtering, restarted multiple times and made sure it is up to date. The issue persists and it is consistent. Whenever you teleport to a new instance of a town, dungeon or open world there is a small chance you will enter a “high lag” instance where the delay persists there no matter how long you wait and it is always the same amount of delay. But here is the kicker, if you teleport somewhere else to create a new instance you roll the dice again and you might be back to normal or get a “high lag” instance again.
