Muchas gracias, Huzzah and Tyvm!

This right here is the one reason I won’t boost one of my Eternal characters: " * All Altars of Lilith unlocked" I must be crazy but I enjoy finding them…I still don’t have them all. Everything else would be nice for a boost…

I’m genuinely surprised the Red-Cloaked Horror is returning so soon—November 19, for anyone who wants to skip the article. Thanks for that! With the 15% experience boost from Gileon’s Brew along with Mother’s Blessing, maybe I can hit Paragon 300 before the holiday. Thank you.

I’m kind of curious why a holiday themed event isn’t running through the entire month of December. The short period feels like the Grinch is in the mix. :frowning:

Maybe there’s something else for Christmas?

I already got my lump of coal. It’s called absurd paragon EXP requirements.

A stocking full off coal incoming!

Looks like the cosmetic reward from last year’s Christmas event won’t be returning. They’re being replaced with nothing.

Diablo community: “Meat or treat was the worst seasonal event ever”

Blizzard: “hold my beer”

Well, you could just find them all beforehand. Unless you are trying to find them naturally.
I can respect that. They were fun to find.

I can get to about 10 left in each zone and then I get bored.

Imagine though when you find those 10  #feelz

I set myself a goal of finding over half of them on my own and then I used an interactive map lol.
I’m that kid that would dump the box of cereal to get to the toy at the bottom lol.
No patience.

One more time, this “boost” is the most tone deaf thing you have done at least for the Eternal players that complained awhile back when you legacied their items (again). The issue is they can’t reroll masterworking on 2-3+ GA mythics/uniques with max effect they spent days if not months farming.

Speaking as somebody that uses max level eternal characters to mess around with before picking a seasonal class:

  1. Eternal players want literal perfect gear that they can adjust season to season as builds change/a couple pieces need to be replaced. They are just fine with farming brand new items. That doesn’t mean a “new” Bamished Lord’s Talisman they already spent days getting what was the BiS version of. They aren’t interested in starting fresh; or your no longer existent “seasonal” mechanics.
  2. They don’t need a new level 50 character, they probably have one of every class they play with lvl 21-max glyphs.
  3. They don’t need altars of lilith, they have them already. They are perfectionist min/maxers.
  4. You made them refarm the same stuff they already had, labeled it “new” just because of an ilvl change, and placated the whiners that said it was necessary cuz they “would have a head start”. They don’t play seasonal; they had 200 paragon points; leveling to 60 from 50 where they started takes 45 min-3 hours tops. They were always gonna be “ahead” and it doesn’t matter. You just did this mistakenly hoping this was better for your engagement metrics.
  5. No other ARPG handles their Eternal/Legacy realm this way. None.
  6. Upgrade 540 mythics to 800 instead. Remove the legacy tag. Not that it won’t be too late for some.

Getting a 3GA shako last season was one of the most exciting but bitter sweet experiences I have ever had in the game. I knew I’d have to just stick with what I was willing to do on the MW and while naturally it’s still an amazing item; it’s stupid something I will likely never see again drop is locked “because reasons”. I can’t imagine it for those that don’t play seasonal and all their gear followed suit.

It’s bad enough only people that grind insanely like some of us do get amazing items this season, but you aren’t getting the people that left over this back with such a completely out of touch “incentive”.

Now that I understand how Blizzard likes to hide them, it isnt difficult to use intuition to get to them:

I’ve started an eternal realm toon so I can log in on HC with it and see how badly the game crashes. I luckily avoided the last major patch which basically fragged the HC community. My guess is the new patch will need at least 3 hot fixes and a patch for stability before it’s playable because at Blizzard “Quality is always an accident.”

You could boost it on hardcore. They are seperate realms so shouldnt effect your softcore realm. Reverse that if you play hardcore.

All spires are now christmas trees with a 2% chance to break an ornament and spawn a goblin? Goblin has 2 normal legendaries and 5 rawhide?

I was thinking the same thing. I was in hospital for last event and couldnt participate for the cosmetics. Stupid that they don’t return.

Thumb up :+1: :+1: :+1:

Reminders of the trolls who said Blizzard don’t care about Eternal Realm.

Next thing is bring Battlepass to Eternal Realm so we can help fund the developers for better content. As there is no difference between two realms since S3 as seasonal power no longer introduced as cost cutting measure, most likely due to lack of funding.
