So im not exactly sure if you were aware but many people are actually in “panic” like you said, because many of the uniques are not dropping from Duriel/Andariel cause they are bugged, some of them are essential to make classes playable, people wasted mats and time farming boss’s for nothing, so if the game is in this situation people have all the right to complain.
In my particular case i did fight Duriel and Andarial around 30/35 it takes 4 mats to summon this boss’s 1 time, this mats come from other boss’s, which also need mats to summon them, so i wasted around 20h ± farming mats and killing Duriel/Andariel so i could get my tempest roar and finally enjoy the game, but after that amount of hours without dropping it, i just saw a new annoucment from blizzard saying that it cannot drop cause of a bug. Unlucky that the class that i enjoy play its always walled behind uniques, surely blizzard will also do something about it soner than latter
Theres more people in similar situations, so people are right to complain, game is fun, better than it was before, but things like this are completely unaceptable.
Enjoy the game the way you want to enjoy, but coming to forums to complain about other people’s complain its just dumb.
Very different issue though isn’t it……Cleary a resolution will be needed and it should be highlighted. Something for the bug forum perhaps!

You don’t “finish” a game like this. No such thing
You are definitely not almost done with the season journey, not even close.Literally impossible.
Well, I think what people generally mean when they’re talking about being finished is that they’re finished with doing what they view is the point of an ARPG loot hunter.
I mean you could take any game and just add some arbitrary challenge that says to kill a boss 7 trillion times and then call the game effectively endless. But it’s not really addressing the point people are making.
Hopefully Blizzard is wise enough not to foolishly nerf everything based off these silly complaints. But they’ve done it before so who knows.

I’ve been away since Season 1 and am redoing the campaign and every sidequest I come across this Season.
I think a lot of people just want the rewards and aren’t really in it to replay the game, though.

Thanks for making me look at that again, I thought I needed 9/9 for some reason and didn’t realize I was even closer to being done than I thought. I only need two world bosses to have finished the season journey.

I am sick and tired of people coming in and posting ‘Game xxxxxx or yyyyyy is so much better than D4 and D4 should be doing this or that and it is so bad because this other game does something different.’

I disagree, everyone’s opinions matter regardless of post count. Shouldn’t matter if you have 1 or 6k+ posts, as long as you aren’t insulting people with your opinion it’s perfectly fine. Now we can have differing opinions and talk about it, which is what the forum is for, but there’s no right or wrong when it comes to an opinion.
That being said I agree with you and the person you replied to, D4 is not a job, it’s just a game and it should be enjoyed. If you aren’t enjoying it, why bother playing?

Reading between the lines here, nothing was going to bring you back other than a reason to whinge in the forums I suspect.
I just fundamentally disagree with this concept people should have BiS in three days post a new season launching. I cringe every time I see this stuff and the instant gratification generation crying about having to actually play the game for more than 5mins.

Yeah the item bricking of godly items does need to be tweaked. The better the item is, the better the RNG dynamics should be – up to 100% certainty for the best items (and these should be very very rare…not even something that happens once a week). LE did this well. On the reverse, lower end items should be harder to get what you want (25% chance, for instance). That makes it exciting when you get what you want. And if you brick it, it’s not that big of a deal because you can get it again fairly easily.
Given the way tempering is set up, tho, it’s hard to figure out how this can be done. This dynamic wasn’t thought of in the design process so it would have to be reworked from the ground up.

That must be why LE sold less than 1/20th of Diablo and in 2 months it doesn’t reach 4k people online… yes, let’s make everything very RNG and uber uber rare for just the 0.001% who play 20h/7d will It works very well, trust me.
What makes a good game is being fun, logging in with my friends and having fun, and honestly, with all the flaws that D4 has, this league is really fun
Games can have good ideas and not be able to compete with AAA companies. This isn’t really an argument. Also it broke path of exile’s steam chart record. And will likely break it again when their first season releases in July. But I accept your concession for not having a counter argument other than this.
If you’re not a fan of RNG, you may want to move on from trying to play an ARPG loot hunter. Sounds like an MMO is more of your thing. They have rep grinds and gold grinds and whatever.

Eh, not that it matters (see Bodachs point), but Last Epoch sold 2 million in 30 days, while D4 suppsoedly sold 10-15 million in that timeframe. So it is a bit off.

I feel sorry for anyone who still gives a chance to a failed game like Diablo 4. It’s an endless illusion of eternal hope that someday the game will become a phenomenon! May God have mercy on you and may he light your path to get out of this infinite labyrinth of hope that will never happen!
