Reduce cosmetic prices

Pretty accurate
They want the skins to be “exclusive” so they artificially inflate prices.

That “Exclusivity” makes rich people buy more skins.
If the prices were lower, everyone would buy skins, but maybe only 1 or 2.

With high prices rich people will buy skins even if they don’t want them.
So they get more money by playing on the ego of the rich.

As in makes you feel like a special cookie?

That is kinda a hard thing with a loot game. Farming loot is supposed to give you that not paying $25

and ego is destroyed when dude farmed gear and looks better anyways

Expensive game, Expensive cosmetics = less whiners … i would pay a premium for that.

That doesn’t make any sense lol

my understanding is they are dyeable version of gear that drops in game or at least close to such gear

is this not correct?

ive spent more on less. there will always be people that buy cosmetics and ones that dont

they are too expensive. when they are not hitting the sales numbers they want, theyll cut the prices

If skins were $1, everyone would buy them and look the same. They know what they are doing by inflating prices.

Not excusing them, just using logic. And by using the same logic I can say I wouldn’t pay for cosmetic items in a game where I have access to a lot of free skins just by playing and using transmogs (which feel even better since I “earned” them).

I’m sure the Harvard and Stanford MBAs they have doing the microtransaction pricing know how to hit sales numbers.

More like buying access to a pizza chain menu for 70 bucks and then have the nerves to charge 28 more buck for pizza than could could be found in the dumpsters or off dead demons as we running around the city.

the release skins will always be the worse ones anyways

play any game with cosmetic skins and you would know this

say look at overwatch

the best skins always come when they start implementing holidays like Halloween and Christmas.

They will have costumes and Santa gear and stuff which will be quite different from in game gear.

Buying right now for gear skins is a waste.

those same people (stanford/harvard business paper swappers) have been responsible for the inflationary zero bound cash rate disaster for the last 15 years and are the cause of our current predicament. id argue they dont know shxxxxxxxx

Im glad I dont really like any of the skins

not sure, thats possible. i know my sorc has the underbob (for lack of better descriptive) chest gear at least 2ce in my mog list, but i never bought that set

havnt seen the necro set anywhere, and it looks great.

wait that is a sorc skin? isn’t that the same top for the store necro skin?

No that’s the sorc skin, I haven’t seen any of that set available in game. I only play sorc and Necro but main the Necro because it looks way better… sorc runs stupid and it annoys me

The other two Necro sets that were up, the helms at least are available in game… maybe not with a gold faceplate like the store version… but your character is like 2" high, do they really think people are going to pay to gold tip their mask? I bought the wrath set because it glows and looks great, the tattoo was actually the best part… since it too glows and looks cracked. Overall the set was awesome and looks great.

All the other sets look incredibly generic and I don’t see any reason why people would be motivated to pay for… that low effort ***p.

so I got back in game and looked at shop

that is the same top as the necro wratih lord cosmetic skin

you bought that for sorc from the shop? I don’t see it in my shop unless you bought the wratih lord set at it lets you use for sorc?

I am a little confused

Yeah that looks like the necro chest to me, not the sorc.
