Billy the Blizzard Apologist was a man of many titles: husband, father, employee, gamer, and most importantly, defender of Blizzard Entertainment. His love for Blizzard was as unwavering as the icy winds of Northrend, and his dedication to their games was as fierce as a Death Knight’s charge.
Billy’s life was a whirlwind of activity. He juggled seven wives, three husbands, fourteen kids, five dogs, three jobs, and two mortgages with the same ease that a Demon Hunter dodged incoming projectiles. And yet, through it all, he always found time for his beloved Diablo IV.
With only twenty-five minutes a day to play, Billy was a master of efficiency. He would down his allotted Bud Light, grab his controller, and dive into the world of Sanctuary. His Spirit Boi, a level 40 paragon of power, was his pride and joy, a testament to his unwavering commitment.
Though his progress through the game was slow, Billy’s true passion lay in defending Blizzard against its detractors. He spent countless hours on the forums, his 20,000 posts a testament to his tireless efforts. No criticism was too small, no argument too complex for Billy to tackle. He would dismantle player complaints with the same fervor that a Paladin smashes a demon’s skull.
Billy’s love for Diablo IV was only surpassed by his love for Diablo Immortal. To him, Blizzard could do no wrong, and their games were nothing short of perfection. He would defend them against all comers, his voice a beacon of unwavering support in the face of negativity.
And so, Billy the Blizzard Apologist continued his crusade, a champion of Blizzard in a world that often questioned their decisions. His dedication was unwavering, his love for Blizzard as boundless as the cosmos. And as long as there were games to play and critics to silence, Billy would be there, his controller in hand, his heart filled with the unwavering devotion of a true Blizzard fan.
One can point things out that are problems without it being ‘complaints’
One can also be constructive in providing negative feedback.
One can also do all of these things without it being ‘whining’ or ‘bratty’
Those are brainlet attempts to dismiss valid arguments about an in game problem rather than entertaining that there is one.
that is very true.
sadly its also true that this kind of feedback can be hardly found here.
I mainly come to these forums, but do check out Reddit sometimes via web searches when looking for some answers regarding D4. Reddit seems to me more helpful and friendly with less toxic posters than we see here and other forums I’ve been to. Not that this form is terrible but there’s certainly a lot of dramatics in many threads. Also seems a bit uneven from some posts have hundreds of replies to a meaningless thread compared to so many unanswered posts that brings up greatl questions or debates.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Ok. That you had to resort to trying to question my IQ speaks volumes of yours.
I do agree that further discussion is completely pointless.
This place is basically Diablo 4 talk for people who also use 4chan and regularly talk about how much of a genius Elon Musk is. To really paint the picture of what we are dealing with here.
Pro tip: if reddit is happy and you arent, you might need to enroll in a 12 step program
It’s narrated for sure. I can post some trash like “hey guys, I found this cool weapon /insert 3GA trash no one uses/” and I would get 20-30 upvotes and comments like “that’s really cool” or “i wish i had one of those”…so basically, bot-generated responses and votes.
Anyone who uses Reddit and thinks “this is what real people want” is an idiot. Remember all the people that ran bot farms for Twitter a few years ago? They all work for Reddit now. Reddit is fake, none of the opinions are real.
Or the people on that forum are Brain Dead Unlike the people here did you think of that?
Kinda funny the people that you label as brats are actually here for the general reason of giving feedback.
What I find more awkward is the people here that seem to think that feedback is somehow a magical personal attack against them and somehow they feel like they have to defend it by wasting their time on the forums instead of playing the game that they enjoy and allowing us to improve the game considerably due to our feedback
Talk about a double waste of time. What a world we live huh?
Reddit bans users who speak bad about the game.
At least you can swear in reddit without being reported and banned.
Anything on Reddit that doesn’t fit the narrative is deleted. It’s not an objective source of information, it’s a source of curated misinformation and malinformation.
it’s kinda fun cuz idk why but official forums of blizzard is more free than r/diablo4
Look at Steam score, they are verified buyers. 48% lol. VoH is an disaster.
It’s easy to get wrapped up in all the whining and dogpilling in these forums.
But statements like yours reminded that there are many people out there that don’t care enough about the SB imbalance to make thousands of complaint threads. And that there are many people enjoying the game, outside of the D4 forums of course.
yeah reddit is full of bots, so it should never be a one source for any information, be it regarding D4 or any other.
Why is the user score so low at mc and steam? Very low. Bad story and Bad end game…no balance and poor loot.
It’s been my experience most of them are in the very weird camp of.
Diablo 3 is the greatest game of all time camp.
And all they wanna do Is Turn off their brain and “Blast”
The spirit born is certainly that at the moment.
Personally I can’t stand Diablo 3, it had some good points but overall it was a disaster. I am glad Diablo 4 has mostly stayed away from the mistakes of Diablo 3 like “Cough Cough Sets Cough Cough”
