Reddit vs D4 forums

I watched a vid by Asmongold where he kind of bashed the story and expansion.
The funny thing was that the top comment was someone saying how much they liked both. And the kicker is that it was the top comment with over 5k likes.
To a handful of people this is “a slap in the face”. Everyone else is pretty much having a good time.

lol don’t start celebrating just yet, Maevis.

Steam numbers are already steadily dropping to pre-expansion player count.

The most-upvoted thread over there (by far), currently, is complaining about tempering and saying it needs to change. You may want to have your eyes checked.

Oh man. I am not celebrating lol.

The only metric that matters to me is if I am having fun.

That being said, do you think most people bought the xpac from steam or battlenet?

I’m just saying that the perception in the forums is not really the reality of the state of the game.

Edit: And I prefer to be called Slartibartfast tyvm

But tempering has been a thing since S4 so of course it would be the most upvoted topic. OP is talking about people talking about the xpac.

damn what a newsflash. seasonal games have declining player numbers over the course of a season. whod have known.

Cant understand why tempering is so infamous. Thats one thing im always happy about when i do it, even if i have bad luck sometimes.

If you could just perfect your gear with farming more mats but having a 100% success rate it will get boring quickly to always have the best gear within no time.

because everyone and his dog here thinks they are game “designers” and have the most awesome idea.

Tempering for sure is pretty fine. Only thing id personally adjust is the numbers of options across the different temper manuals to be equal.

Yeah, now that they gave us the one time reroll scrolls, I am happy.

But my Mommy told me I am the most special boy!

Of course all my ideas are awesome!

I’d do a far better job as designer than you do as unpaid shill…

I actually play games, unlike most DEI hires.

Reddit vs D4 forums is same as:
Paid Reviews vs User Reviews on Metacritic

Who actually uses Metacritic? That site is a joke.
You don’t even have to own what you are rating. Unless I am mistaken.

Member democracy? That site is one of the few mainstream places left with it. “Actually”
